Just wondered if any of you guys had heard of a spray tan solution called A Tan?

I had a spray tan done about 2 weeks ago and it was awful! The lady who did it didn't go through consultation, use barrier cream or a hair net and even asked if I had an old towel she could use as she didn't bring any with her, so my towel was covered in brown drops afterwards!

Initially the colour was DEEP brown/orange with terrible running and dripping. This developed into a very very dark brown and when guide colour was washed off, seemed darker in places and very light in others.

2 weeks on after loads of exfoliation and I STILL have traces on my skin. Also, was very itchy and made my arms come out in large white blotches??!

Any ideas what this solution is? Thanks B.

I have used Atan in the past and it suits clients with a sallower skin and those who prefer a darker tan.

I have never had client complain of streaks or itching.

Good longevity and my clients whom it suited loved it.

I have done lots of tans with A-tan and it has produced superb results - sounds like it was all down to the application - not the product.

Your problem is with the person who did your tan and not the products themselves.

I think this post should be closed as it is a rant against the therapist and is against the site rules which we all agree to abide by when joining salon geek. No good comes from a thread like this.
