Hi can anyone advise me of the best type of foot spa to buy for a pedicure i thought this would be a better and more proffesional idea than a bowl as tought in college.
Problem is there are so many to choose from and at various prices i like the party feet by Scholl but i am also drawn to the new hive waterfall! but veeeeery dear, any advise would be really appreciated i don't want to waste anymore time searching on the internet for advise and becoming more confused.
Thank you
Di :)

I use a large Indonesian wooden bowl from Villa & Hut that I varnished with yacht varnish to seal it, and I have small polished pebbles in the base of it. I personally don't like plastic bowls & electric spas, can't abide the noise!

I have just purchased a lovely wooden pedicure bowl from Pink's Boutique..... agree with Martin, pebbles in the bottom.... very luxurious!! Think mine was about 355 incl delivery.

Thank you for both of your replies, i will do some more searching lol to look for a more natural bowl like you have both suggested, i love the idea of the pebbles, just another thought do the pebbles help to keep the water warm this was one of my thoughts about getting an electrical foot spa.
Thank you again
Di

OK just read mine back - £55 not 355!!!!!!! Oops!

I have a footsie bath and I love it!
It is electric but is very quiet and keeps the temperature very well.
It also has disposable plastic liners that mean no cross infection and no cleaning!
They are about £60, I got mine from Georgie Smedley.

Footsie for me too. Customers love the hygiene aspect and its so easy to empty and store it away.
Oh and the massage bit you get from it is perfect as well.

I'm another fan, it really is great and all my clients love it:)

Does a footsie vibrate or does it just keep the water warm

I have the Footsie too - a recent purchase.

It's fab and yes, it vibrates and keeps the water warm.

It'd a doddle to clean, with the hygienic disposal liners and the retractable plug cord is so brill - makes it easy to carry without fear of tripping up!

Footsie bath for me to, love the liners as it means you haven't got to faff about cleaning it after every client and when you are back to back you can literally whip another liner in and away you go so it actually saves you money in the long run as you haven't got to allow time to clean it after every client.

The other thing is that it has a flat surface. The last two pedicures I have had have used some awful foot spas with the bumpy bits on the bottom, I find it really uncomfortable its like sticking pins in your feet.

If you don't want to spend to much then I would reccommend the footspa from argos that is something like £15 it is fab, hasn't got a thousand attachments that you will never use, the base is comfortable and you can detach the splash gaurd so you can get right in there to remove scrub, mask etc.

Another Footsie bath fan here!

Footsie Spa for me too... its lovely and I tend to just use the warm facility and not bother with vibrate as I don't particularly like the noise (although with the footsie it is very low noise).

Have to say its one of my better purchases that I have invested in.

Hi - I have the scholl footspa and think its great! It has 3 different settings and massages the clients feet while in the spa. My clients love it - I wouldn't spend loads of money if you don't have to and to be fair how long are the clients feet in the water?? Not long really when you think of the whole treatments...spend more on your products and your massage...that'll make them come back to you. Lisa

I have a foot spa bath massager, which I recently bought from bestshoestretcher. It has improved my blood circulation and got a best metabolic system. I also got the perfect vibrate message, it has a heating semiconductor that helps to keep a perfect temperature of water for a long time. After release your feet from here, you can get the fresh and clean foot, which I have got. I think most of the users highly benefited using this.
