Body Builder Spray Tan

We want to offer spray tan to local bodybuilders, we have made some connections and I think we will get some custom over the next couple of weeks.

So, we use fake bake original at the moment but it wont be dark enough. can anyone recommend anything that will give a very dark colour?

Also (dont laugh) but some of these boys are very broad and I am not sure if they will even fit into our tent! so how can i get round that one?

Tantrick are bringing out an 18%, LA tanning have an 18% and Siennasol do a darker solution that is very dark, perhaps you could try those.

You could use Fake Bake Darker, to keep with the same brand,and offer booster drops to intensify the colour. Fake Bake don't sell booster drops though, you'd have to get them elsewhere x

I have no personal experience, but I do remember being told while training to beware of using some of the shimmer lotions in an airgun as they can clog them. I don't know if this would apply in your case, but worth looking into.

Perhaps you should ask some of the girls who spray tanned the rugby team?? They were BIG lads....had to duck down to get into the tents!!

A word of warning don't ever spray tan a body builder with their own solution!! It stinks to high even the fumes i just could not handle. I had to clean out my entire tent, gun and my whole room twice over because of the smell!!

I made a huge mistake the other day doing this

If your going to tan body builders use your own lotion, but i doubt they would want to use anything else other than Pro tan for their competitions as it has a certain stuff in that gives that shimmer

I think your best bet would be to buy some booster drops (the majority of tanning companies will sell them, just double check they would be compatible with your solution!).

I have no idea what its like but came across this a few weeks back whilst doing some research. It may be worth seeing if they have a UK distributor oe can ship internationally. (I buy another tanning solution internationally sometimes and it works out quite cost-effective)

Something else to consider is that alot of tanning companies have a clause in the warranty agreement stating that you cannot use any other solution with their equipment or your warranty will be void. I'm not sure if all companies state this, but it's something to look into before using another type of solution in your gun.

Celebritysecrets do the 16% but for those who want to be realy dark they do a 22% !

If they require a shimmer, could you not retail them a shimmer gel for use after you've spayed them? I know Tantrick have the Party Shimmer Gel, or would it not be Shimmery" enough?!

Yes i offered this but he still wanted the pro tan. But as i said never again lol xxxx

I have sprayed a bodybuilder and IMHO he wanted to look like he'd been tangoed so I'd use some old cheap cr*p that you think is awful.....he'll be chuffed to bits I promise
Spray him 3 times and he'll love you :lol:
