Hoping you can help. My colleague has asked me to put this up, she did an intimate wax with hot wax , she has used this wax pot once already, and it was fine. (we are both wax trained and we have used this brand before)

However this time she could not get the wax to set. she said it did not matter how long she waited, it would not set.

She then struggled to get it off without hurting the client. Apparently it was rather traumatic ( I was not at work today). the client was in a lot of pain and my colleague was distressed that she had hurt the client.

so, can any of your offer advice? Why would the hot wax not set? and if that ever happened again (god forbid) how could we remove it without causing pain?

she said she trimmed the area and was paying attention to the hair growth. she said it was the labia area. to be fair she is a great waxer, i find her so gentle as a rule.

I would so grateful if you could assist, I have to go and see the cient tomorrow with flowers and vouchers and so would be really grateful if you could help me handle this.

thank you

Can you tell us which wax?

Are you absolutely sure it was non-strip wax?

yes it was the clean and easy brazilian hard wax.

That's scary. Chuck it out and replace it. Can't think of any other advice really.

thank you Zo Zo, I shall definately do that.

I bet the weather was colder when you used it last time, climate temp does affect how quick wax sets.

However this time she could not get the wax to set. she said it did not matter how long she waited, it would not set.
The client would have been getting hotter as they were both waiting for the wax to set so this would have made it twice as hard for it to set.

I use Berins jet set non strip wax to combat this problem as the weather gets warmer,
i have done a Brazilian today and my client found it more uncomfortable than usual (she was pre menstrual though)
i wonder if we are more sensitive as the weather heats up ?

hi, all im finding my ladies are finding there waxing harder to get through,
it could be the warmer weather?
i used clean and easy, as my boss at the time bought it in for me,
yuk, i ended up throwing it away, i didnt trust it, for me it kept snaping
dont let this put you off, there are some fab waxes out there
luv hx

Sounds odd. I would contact the manufacterers with the batch number. xx

I would definitely as Kim has already said contact the manufacturer and explain to them what has gone wrong as it is indeed rather strange.

I probably wouldn't have tried to remove it at all as you would normally do but in this case used plenty of oil to try and release the wax from the skin and then tried to trim the hair underneath (if that was possibly of course). Eventually and I do mean eventually, most of the wax should have come away using the oil.
