All i can say is with the reports that are coming out now its a bloody good job that police are standing guard at the house!

I would not like to be in the shoes of any of those involved. And if for any reason someone, anyone gets hold of her then she deserves all she gets.

She calls herself a mother? Sorry but she aint no mother, she dont deserve kids and i hope to hell she never gets any of them poor kids back, they will all be better off without her!

When they done a programme about the family.....all the neighbours were helping print t-shirts and get the newspaper interested.....2 people use to go to a community center every day all day long to do raffles to raise money for this family......

Why am I not surprised at all by this?
When I wanted to rehome an Airedale Terrier I was comprehensively vetted to ensure that I would provide a loving, appropriate home. These people can just flop babies out at a rate of knots without any kind of checking. And then I wonder why I'm vilified for my views on eugenics.

I hope to goodness that the children are not too damaged by all this. As they say: damaged people are dangerous because they know how to survive.

Yes i am.....we are talking about a mum ......who has helped kidnapped her own daughter.......then child neglect.....shock is putting it mildly as i am a mum and would never EVER dream of doing anything like that to my kids.......

Kids can get on your nerves....so can we....parent...but no way does it make it right for a mum to do that to her own child.

the scuzzy effort wants locking up , but no doubt she will get a £20 fine , the council will move her to probbably a better area , and she will still be on benefits !! gggrrrrrrr
if the kids have been took off her , she wants to be made to get a flaming job theres no excuse for her not to work now

I may be being judgemental here, but she hasn't really projected a very good image thus far, has she? I think the professionals describe such lives as "chaotic"; many, many children by several different fathers doesn't suggest an ordered "normal" life, does it?
I worry for those children...

It makes me so sick and very angry that people like that woman keep on churning out children that they do not deserve, who only see their kids as a way of making money, when there are so many people who would be fab parents who cant have them or have to pay thousands for IVF.

Also that woman has made fools out of the whole country and cost the police over £1m in overtime that could have been spent on something real and imporant.

I hope that her children are taken away from her - she does not deserve them.

I had to visit wakefield police station yesterday and it wasnt untill last night that i found out she was been held there in the cells.....just as well because if i could have got my hands on the low life money grabbing child neglecting scumbag i dread to thnk what i would be capable of

As said before, i hope she gets whats coming to her.

Exactly, there is other people in this world far worse off than they were but they dont plan kidnaps on their children in the hope of making a fast buck!

If they couldnt afford children why did she have so many in the first place?

I think it will be a long time before we get the full story on what happened prior, during and after the events and at the moment there is alot of speculations going around but for those who have children missing i cant beging to imagine how they must be feeling:hug:

There are a lot of those type of people about though - I remember when I had my last miscarrage I had to have a D&C, the girl in the bed next to me was on her 5th YES HER 5th abortion!!!!!

Well said Trish hun......it does make you wonder what we are bringing ourkids up in.......

What about those mums/dads that cant have kids ....who dream of a child.....then you see this "thing" ....and how she has treated her kids.....

When i watched the programme her house was dirty and looked scummy but i had to remember that her child was abducted......then i read she blinking well helped take her....knew where Shannon was all along.....

She has 7 kids by so many dads but it still shocks me now...that she helped in the kidnap of Shannon......Shannons step dad even had over 100 child porn images on his computer .....what was and has that girl gne through.....

You think did she ...has she....when you know she did and has ...your still in shock ....when you look at your kids....and look at others that cant have kids .....those people would have a child and look after it in the right way......just makes you sick....and angry.

So how would you help to stop this?????....what do you do????....stop benefits being handed out....do what they do in china where you have to have a licence to have a child?????......

You cant cos there would be out cry.....i do agree however...that this sort of thing has to stop.....but how makes me wonder.....i have to say...i have been on benefits and its degrading cos you feel everyone is looking at you....if it was not for benefits me ad my kids would have been on the streets.....begging i suppose......it helped me at that time....

It woud be nice if they give you benefits for a limited time ....say 6 months....so you can sort yourself and your kids out and find a job.....the trouble is .....for some people they are better off staying on benefits......

England is suffercated as it is.....maybe we should have a limit on how many kids a couple can have....it does make me sick when i see young single mums with so many kids .....so many different dads .....having more kids just so they want someone to love and someone to love them back.

Dont think it matters too much which government is in power to be honest, they are all pretty much the same - on the lookout for themselves. The Thatcher years were not that great, think back to what they did to the miners, etc.
