Ive sat and tried to figure out what has been going on concerning Shannon Matthews but seem to draw a blank.

Its just been reported that a 32 year old woman has been arrested and charged with her kidnap and reports are saying its her own mother?

Theres something real funny going on within that family and especialy since shannon has not been allowed home as yet.

Her stepdad has been charged with having child pornography on the home pc's.

His uncle has been charged with holding shannon.

Some other female relative has also been charged with something?

I hope its all sorted out soon and shannon can find the love she so deserves along with her siblings.

Sadly it would appear that the stepfather and his uncle had plans for Shannon that weren't very nice at all, and her mother knew (because she's been arrested for attepmting to pervert the course of justice). What a mess. I hope the other kids get the help and support they are going to need........

....i am still in shock over all of this.....they are saying they got Shannon kidnapped so they could get money from the papers as they were poor....

I have been poor and NEVER thought of getting my kids involved in anything to get money.....its all SICK.......i hope they do the best for the kids.....x

I told him not to be so nasty, and to imagine how we would feel if it was us, and we were being accused....
Sometimes I think I need to stop being so trusting and open my eyes to the real world,
Which is a sad thing I think.

I remember briefly reading a news paper (dont often read them) and i think it was a local mp who said something along the lines of " parents like that of shannon should be steralised after the 1st child"
I remember at the time thinking who is he to say that just because she has X amount of children to X amount of men!

But im now begining to think im understanding where he was coming from.

If it is true what is been reported they deserve all they get and i for one will not stand back and be saddened by what happens to them.

People like that make me sick!

am with emms on this , i had a feeling they were involved in it :irked:, they all want locking up and if the mother has had something to do with it , she never wants to be able to see them kids ever , and should be friggin sterilised so she cant have anymore and do god knows wot to em !

I too heard it was to do with money, I don't know if anyone watched the documentary they did but they did seem totally fixated with press coverage compared to Madeline McCann and all the money that has been offered to her parents???

I watched that hun.....and now i think how taken in i was.......on that programme it said that the papers were saying that Madeline was prettier than Shannon which i thought was bad......but like you say.......they just seemed like they wanted the press.....

i always thought there was something a bit suss about it all as well....so many people supported the mcCanns...and still are.....and its terrible that someone should come along and 'appear' to set something up.....what must the McCanns be going through when they see all this on the news.
Its is awful that a parent of a child could do such a thing....

Shannon was probably promised a trip to Florida if she hid for a while. What child wouldn't agree to that? Poor kid - deserves better.



I have always agreed that families like that should be sterilised - but they go on and breed and breed - its not the kids faults. Kids follow by example.

I always thought it strange that Shannon's grandparents on her mother's side never wanted anything to do with her, nor wanted to take her in when the stepfather was arrested. Apparently they have never agreed with her lifestyle. What really, really p***es me off, is that we the tax payers are paying the benefits that these people obviously get with no fathers around. Not so bad if it was one, but five??? Haven't they heard of contraception? :irked:

after watching the documentary folowing the matthews/meehans during shannons 'disapperance', i was certain the family all knew where shannon was as they were sat around playing on the computer and they were joking about a peadophile who lived down the road. now correct me if i am wrong but if i had a child who was missing and people were talking about a peadolphile down the road i would be cra**ing myself, not laughing and joking. they are a sick sick family and hope they get al they deserve........

I have just read this morning that someone claiming to be Shannon's Auntie contacted a representative of the McCanns requesting a wad of money from Maddy's fund!!! Also that her mother told the police Liaison officer that she had known where Shannon was all along....

Snap......i was watching it on the news last night......something awfull has been going on in that house of horrors......i just hope the other kids are safe and if this was a big plot to get money....hope they ALL get done.
