here's the first of quite a few videos, it's not perfect, but it's my take on the system.
I'm having fun experimenting.

Enjoyed watching your videos thanks:)

Hi Nailzoo Love the videos Just a question (probably a dumb one) if I wanted to use a pop it over a french tip do I put clear and pink in the popit?
How would I line it up with the tip on the nail?
Cheers
Karen

Fabarooney. Now all I need are the Popits. One little critisism, on both vids, when the text comes up about how to apply the L&P, I think it disappears a tiny fraction of a second too soon. There's time to read but not really absorb IYKWIM, of course that could just be me.

I would use just clear, or a pale pink

I don't want to sound sarcatic but hey "don't you have a pause button"?
I didn't want the video to drag on forever!!!!! full of boring bits.

Pause button, what's that?
I don't think you'd catch anybody here ever calling anything you doing boring. I play them as is (well when my computer can keep up).

OMG......why o why cant i watch the vids!!!! I just cant play any of them....it is obviously my computer missing a program but i dunno what......i got java and quick time i think??!! grrrrrrrrrr!!!!!....it opens the other window no probs...so nothing to do with pop up blocker......just a blank screen with the video bar in the middle.

Hi,
thanks for showing that.never seen a popit done .that was very helpfull.xxxxxx:green:

they were good videos, much clearer photography than any i've seen before with the popits, nice and close up. thankyou for making the effort to do them.

thanks so much for these vids. they're simply excellent! the instructions and angles you have show are extremely comprehensive!

i'm just learning to do false nails now. i knew the fibreglass would be pretty simple to get absolutely perfect, since you're basically just following the shape with a thin resin & fabric that adheres to a natural nail/perfectly manufactured tip. However, i've always know that the acrylic would be very tricky, not matter how keen an eye you have, you can never be as accurae as a manufactured stencil, which is exactly what the popit is. i'm a real perfectionist and this is just what i have been looking for.

thanks again xx

:)

i love your vids and watch them over and over and over , in fact hubbie often comments on my dependancy for your vids and joked last night that i would go into withdrawal if they werent available.

WOW!!! Amazing really really enjoyed the video's been tempted with popits for months you have just made up my mind for me!! My order will be placed 1st thing monday morning, Thank you.

i've done a fair few sets of poppits - (love a one colour nno on myself) - one thought would be that maybe you are prodding and touching the acrylic more than you need to as it will settle in the form pretty much by itself .
Newbies might have a problem if they do this too much as 1) you're more likely to get air bubbles 2)also more likely to get acrylic stuck in your brush (been there done that!!)
One question Carl - do you prefer Popits or the edge freeform?

Popits have a much better form to them, there has been much more thought put into their design.

Fantastic videos Carl - I have popits here but am yet to give them a go...I've been motivated into getting them out and having a practise :green: I really enjoyed watching

I am currently wearing Popits, half are gel and half L&P, sort of a random mix. I do the L&P ones as Carl does (spreading out the bead) it works for me:)

Adele, I finished my day 5 today and Denise told us she is expecting again - same due date as her other 2!!! Anyway, she gave me the new course dates for next year and she is offering a Poppits course, do you think it is worth going on or can you really teach yourself? Thanks. Hope you are well :)
