ezflow gel it or nsi balance gel, which is better (or do you prefer) x

I use nsi balance and have no problems with it. Never used ezflow so can't really comment on it except that the two colour kits are gorgeous and so much better than the colours on offer with nsi imo

I am the opposite of Gilly, in thatI haven't used NSI gel but have used Gel it! the EzFlow system. Obviously I like the EzFlow system and find it easy to use, especially to sculpt with.
I particularly like the Edge it! colour which is a lovely natural shade for a free edge.
Also the colours now available as Gilly said are amazing, and so easy to do Design with.

Maybe a geek will come along that has used both and be able to do a proper comparison lol!!

I have used both and prefer EzFlow although balance was NOT a bad product...I just got on better with gel it!
Why not have a nail done at the next show by each company and weigh them both up? x

I use NSI and find it very easy to use and have never had any probs but other people may not like it i think its down to personal prefference NSI do a great little sample kit.

Looking at your other threads it seems (at least to me) that you haven't got a clue of which product you want to use!?

It might be worth your while going to a show and having demo nails done, and/or approaching different companies to see if they do Try Me packs so that you can have a try of different products, either that or ask which geeks are local to you and have a demo nail from each of them :D

hth's a bit

I am doing an ezflow gel it conversion day this month.I use Calgel but also nsi on some ladies when i need a hard gel.
It has been a long time since i trained with hard gel and wanted a refresher as im not happy with my application and have never been taught sculpting with a hard gel.
Ezflow are doing a days free conversion with a purchase of the gel it kit.

Thank you for some kind words, yes i am unsure of which gel to use as when i trained it was with the carlton and , i did not like there products, i was just asking an opinion of other people, i am sorry if seem as if ' i do not know what products i wish to use ', i was looking for insights into what most peoplew use so as to do a conversion in the near future x

That's what we're here for, to help advise you on the best way to find the best product for you and your business. There are a lot of different products available which is why getting Try Me kits is a good idea and also going to shows to have demo nails done, that way you can road test them on your own nails and get a better idea

Do you know any geeks who are local?
Asking them to do a demo nail is a good idea if you can't get to the shows.

If it's a hard gel (buff off) that you're looking for then I can recommend Brisa, I love it. It has paint on white (POW) as well as sculpting white plus opaque pinks, coloured gels and also shimmers in the collection. It has fantastic longevity and is really strong :green:

Balance Gels are great products. There are a lot to choose from as well, so any tech can use the system, no matter how they were taught application. They have a DVD that can break everything down for you....a great tool if you are new to using the product.

i use nsi balance gels and i do love there products.my only problem is that they are behind other companies with what products nsi sell.because nsi do not do any coverage gels as of yet although they do,do coloured gels and glitter gels but imo i wish they had as much to offer as some of the other companies.
i am very happy with the products im using and most of my gel clients come back to me every 4 weeks with only a few damaged nails if any which is due to them being hard on their nails.
i agree with sandi,i think you should get some try me kits and if possible get some demo nails done.
just because someone else likes a product doesnt mean its suited to you.i got a few try me kits.theres nothing wrong with wanting to be sure before you invest in a full kit.
good luck hun.xx

Sorry to hyjack the thread a little...

Tracey.. I have just bought the blush pink colour gel from nsi to try as a coverage... don't know if you've tried it but I'll let you know how I go on.

I love ezflow gel it, I can actually sculpt with it which I couldn't do with nsi, I just didn't suit nsi. My mum uses nsi and loves it and can work with it lovely. It just depends what you feel comfortable with. xxx

hi hun,the blush pink is not a coverage gel at all as it is a very subtle pink.i actually use this as my bonder layer and then i use this to build and even pull it over my whites as it is so subtle.
i made my own coverage gel once by using radiant pink ,brush on white and clear if i needed it.i havent tried doing this with the blush pink though.x http://www.salongeek.com/members/tracey+louise-albums-my+album-picture2960-before. http://www.salongeek.com/members/tracey+louise-albums-my+album-picture2961-after.htmlhtml these are the before and after pics that i used the coverage gel that i made.x

Ahhh... it was with the colour pots and I asked my educator too. No problem.

By the way.. if anyone buys any of the nsi colours be sure to buy them in the white pot and not the clear pots. My new colour is partially cured around the inside of the pot so got to get it changed. Just in case anyone's thinking of getting any, something to consider.
