SURELY SOMEBODY HAS TRAINED THAT IS WILLING TO DISCUSS THEM WITH ME PLEEEEEASE

Tweezer happy, do you like blu ray brows, maybe ishould market that hahahah

if it becomes the next "big thing" i know my idea has been stolen
hahah

I am suspicious as although everyone who has trained in it thinks it's great they don't want to spill the beans on the stages! I bet they are told not to and to be honest as if they did it would mean they had totally wasted their money!

I have a funny feeling that you will already have most of the skills to do it already. Most of my clients want natural brows not the glamour girl black brows blond hair look. Great if you've not already trained in tinting, plucking and waxing but maybe not so good for those who already do it. I will be fascinated to see what you think of it and will be happy to be proved wrong. Your brows look great in the picture on your profile!

Also we can only work with what the client has and no amount of shaping or tinting can fill in a gap in a brow so I think they also work towards encouraging the client to have semi-permanent make-up to achieve the perfect look which is not something every therapist wants to do (see the last testimonial on the website.)

Also then on top of the training they want to charge you £15 a year + vat for promotional material!

But then hey I've never been so inspired by a brow shape to write to someone about how wonderful it is so who knows it may be great!

blu ray brows in 3 -D hahahah oh lord i all hyper now, its not even funny, hahahah

weezie your worries are precisely my own, i love brows, feel they MAKE the face, seriously, see my other thread at the mo abut how to dye the brows lighter, ie if a person is dark natiurally how to lighten the brows, no hairdresser etc i know does it but its so god damn annoying to llok at platinum blondes with big dark angry lookin brows

- i do trim, tint analyse etc the brows in general, i suppose i want to know if they teach u how to tint the skin so it adds fullness....how to fill in or thicken up sparse looking brows.......they are the main things aint they
then there is the whole concept that they are turning the regular brow wax, in ut treatment into a tretment in its own right, consultation etc
i dunno if im mad or what seems mad to me that nobody thats trained in it willl contact me
- i have been looking up flights etc all day, hotel room prices so it aint just me tryna learn the 7 steps without having to pay i just want confirmation i amnt goin to be sitting there learning with therapits that dont considr themselves confident in brow waxing

....help!!!

p.s thanks for the compliment on my own brows, i obessess over them eery time i sit in the drivers seat, hahah LOL, i swear thats the best place to shape somoenes brows, whatever way that light hits the face UGGGGGLY!!

My honest advise would be to hold your horses and not rush into it. You can buy a whole lotta stuff for £1000! Your current problem is trying to lighten brows and the HD brows is all about the dark, bold, brow.

The course isn't going anywhere so don't make any rash decisions before working out how many brows you would need to do to recoup the money.

Why not try promoting brows in your business as "Brow therapy" or something like that and get just as excited about it with your clients and you may find they all want it without the HD concept. You can advertise it as a complete treatment e.g tint and shape and make your own advert for it with a picture of your brows!

The tinting to add fullness just seems to be having the confidence to leave the tint on (neatly) until they go dark. No amount of tinting is going to thicken a thin brow.

does tinting really last on the skin i dont know when i do i it doesnt tend to, maybe i dont leave it long enough!!
a picture of my brows hahah yer gas
im so jumping on the bandwagon just at they want you to, grrr hate that about myself, im sold hook line and sinker!
i know i do a lot o what they appear to teach , except the marketing side of it is new........ plus the threading, maybe thatd be worth learning if nowt else !!!
grrrrrr

the price of hd brow training is going up in two weeks thus my urgency to pay prior to price going up

Hiya
Myself and a friend had our brows done by a therapist who had done the HD brow training in Milton keynes, we were both interested in doing the course ourselves so thought we would go and get them done before spending all that money on the training. we both came away thinking its not for us yeah our brows looked fine but its nothing more than a brow tint a bit of threading and an eyebrow wax the staining of the skin lasted about 5 days so not worth the money in my opinion. then she tried to flog us a brow pencil for £20 to fill in the brows when the tint come off:eek: saying that it could achieve the perfect stokes which would look like actual brow hair.

Kim Lawless does a brow design course and i'm sure this includes threading. It's a lot cheaper too :)

Now there's a thing. Do you know which brand of tint they used?

If the one thing you are missing is a threading course, then why not do a threading course? They cost a lot less, add something that you don't already know and you'll spend the whole day learning the one thing. £1000 all in is a lot of money to lay down on something that is a shot in the dark. I've never attended a course where I haven't been told exactly what I would be learning on the day:eek:

exactly, Susie
But then if they told you what these bloody mythical Seven Steps are the secret would be out and we'd all know that it's not all that, wouldn't we!

copy of my post last week.... "Im loving it" Su x
.................................................. .................................................. ..

I have to say I thought I knew everything about brows, shaping waxing and treating, threading... I have always kept up with all the latest trends and techniques, but I was blown away with what I can do now.

HD Brows, High Definition Brows, Eyebrow Tweeze, Wax, Tint, Style is the link

I went on the course called HD Brows you can Google this to find more information, step one, all you thought you knew about brows you might not have! Really, and don’t even go there on antiquated stuff that you learn at college. There is a certain use of special tints that you can only be insured for with this course, yes its Habia approved, I know its the only one you can do these things.

The course was run at Nouveau, at their training centre in Milton Keynes, but I think they are running it other places as well. The trainers are real brow masters and don’t come higher, what they don’t know is not worth knowing, they do not come better than “the three musketeers”, Nilam Patel, Amita Patel and Heidi Worman (hello).

Their brows skills are on a different plane to what I have seen and I have been around the block a fair while, They work with brows all day so they are rightfully the real deal.

Well it was good and was over 2 full days, yes 2 just on brows! I cant stress how good these people are. High definition brows is really not like no other, well it was not for me really, sort of forget the whole thing you know about brows, as I found it was holding me back, its the things that you normally do and don’t do if you understand me.

There are seven or more steps to the whole processes and the end results are really quite magic. I have done threading before, but the way they teach the threading is not like I was taught, I am now getting very fast, they pull you up and guide you with expert steps when you go a little off track.

Apart from learning the design and all the other aspects you learn to, Thread, Shape, tint, advanced tint and loads of other things.

You get a special kit with the training and there is some tools I have never seen before, a long metal brow shapers and a few other things, the tints used and supplied are ones designed for this (they are like a toothpaste size tube,) The kit has lots of other stuff, but I only purchased the small kit, I think you can get bigger kits with more in them, as this is what one of the other ladies had.

Well its added another dimension to what I can do, I have not see anything else like this before but it is fairly new, my shape and definition has moved up heaps , it has to be the most advanced training that I have attended in long years. (Thank you people)
Su x

I am not a trainer for any of the products that I talk about, please remember this. join the unbiased club!

I knew I'd read something on here, this is taken from another thread, I'm rubbish at doing links but if you go to the search and put in HD brows it all comes up xx

Now there's a thing. Do you know which brand of tint they used?

she mixed the one she got in her kit wth a regular brand as I asked her not to make my brows look like slugs on my face ( Im blonde did not want really dark brows)
