can anyone recommend a good vibrant red to use fot stamping over blackpool shellac? i've bought a few of the actual konad polishes and have been a bit disappointed at that the colour isnt that vibrant just looking for advice before i go and order more.

Ok so there are 4 Konad red polishes.... the normal red, cool red and also dark red and red wine. I don't think that any of them have a high enough pigment to really shine on black

You can see swatches of the princess polishes on here Konad Princess Nail Polish Swatches, Part I ~ The Nailphile

Red wine here Konad Special Polish Swatches, Part II ~ The Nailphile

dark red 2nd pic down Konad Plates M78 & M80 ~ The Nailphile

Hope that helps xx

Great thread but wondered if someone could help me im having trouble with my konad i cant seem to get the complete image on my stamp what am i doing wrong? Ive tried using less/more pressure but with no result:eek:

Hi guys,
I have the monster bundle pack with konad stamp and scraper. Scraper is higher one side and scratches plates and doesn't take off polish so I was thinking of taking it to key cutters to see if they can level it out for me. I have been using the mini plastic key fob of my block buster card. Another thing is that the lager images are not big enough to cover a whole nail. How do you get full nail coverage like some of the pics on here??

I use half a credit card to scrape as I found the metal scraper was scratching my precious plates!
Some images need careful lining up with a double stamp to get full coverage especially on thumbs I find.

Hiya :) im not.sure what to suggest that hasn't been covered already through this thread :(

Do you wipe clean the plate, stamper and scraper? I.usually do after 3nails as i fine it tends to dry and can effect the quality of the.image when picking up on the stamper

Scrape the polish off in a 45degree angle with a moderate pressure and then gently roll the stamper over the image.

Also, some geeks have found if they lightly buff their stamper it helps pick up the image :).

Hope 1of those work for you :) keep at it you Will soon get it x

The pink toes were my fav looked so cute!
