Dear All -
Remember when I posted about my pink eyebrows or lack of them? Many of you commented and posted who best to go to. Kimmi kindly offered but she also lives at the other end of the country and is swanning off to Spain; I wanted them done sooner rather than later. though Kim!
Funnily enough our lovely Di Plummer went to work for Karen Betts Nouveau Contours (Lashes and semi-permenent makeup) and her team and I received a cool newsletter with before and afters on semi-permanent make-up. I knew Karen was well known in this area and to be fair she had offered to do my brows on numerous occasions and I never had the time.
That was it... I decided to call and see if it was possible to have Karen herself; I have known Karen for years as she trained with us in nails eons ago; I have seen with much excitement and happiness, her rise to be one of the true pioneers in her field of expertise!! She is also on 10 Years Younger and works on Harley Street various times per year to do specific intricate procedures. Go Karen!
So I am sitting her proudly sporting eyebrows that look bloody fantastic... they actually look like hairs, they frame my face and I love them . She actually used this cool (I guess you would call it a ruler) so that everything she did was perfect and in line with the frame of my face. Then she drew what she wanted on with this cool black Kohl pencil and actully lifted my brows up!!
During this time I had a proper consultation and she had numbed my brows.. I swear throughout the entire process I didn't flinch once and it really didn't hurt one bit...
If anyone is interested in this field of beauty I would highly recommend Karen and the team for training; they are experts. I believe that their expertise lies in lashes and the semi-permanent makeovers she has done in all body areas that are truly remarkable.
I am so happy to have lovely brows again and I can't thank Karen enough for her time, her enthusiasm for our industry and her art... she really is great!!
Thanks for letting me share with you guys... I don't often write in this section!!
