Now before I carry on I have not done any male waxing training all I do in my salon is women's and men's nose and ears (just my hubby so far) as I was shown by Andy how to do them.

I have a bride coming on the 11th of Feb for her wedding on the 14th and she has asked me if I will wax her partners eyebrows I did tell her I had never done a male eyebrow wax before but she was quite happy.

What I was wondering is it the same as a women's eyebrow wax?
Is there anything I should do differently?
Any advice and tips are greatly appreciated :hug:

Here's the brow info from Andy's male waxing Tutorial:-

EYEBROWS
Men’s eyebrows should start just before the inside corner of the eye, about a thumb width apart. Avoid overly sculpted arches, creating instead a gradual tapering to the outer corner. The end point of the brow is the same as with female clients, but use the existing shape as your guide and keep things looking natural – most fellas want to avoid leaving the salon looking like a drag queen.
Ignore everything you learnt in college about not waxing above the brows. It’s perfectly okay to remove stray hairs from the temples and forehead that would otherwise ruin a tidy line.
Unruly hairs can be trimmed with scissors, but keep this to a minimum.
If your client has the odd grey hair or two, ask if he would like them tweezed – this can make a huge difference to the finished look, but don’t go overboard or you’ll end up with bald patches.

And here's a link to the tutorial:-

Thanks hun stupid me I forgot all about that tutorial

that tutorial is verry nformative, wow
what i also find good and didnt pick up on in the tutorial, maybe i wrong ..
For eyebrows, yes the unibrow look most men want clean rid of that
but for darker haired men they want the bulk gone but not a groomed look as said above, so i have managed to please many a male client with taking every second hair from the brow bone region , so still natural but not unruly!!
and (sounds mad) pluck sponatneous hairs in the bulk of the hair of the eyebrow, ...obviously not to the point that it appears in any way sparse but it takes away the heavy dark cross looking brow....
and definitely wax above the brow, agian i attempt to blend so it aint a nice clean finish like womena want, think ye need some avove the eyebrow hair on men, thats a personal opinion, up to the client obviously
hope that helps even a wee bit

It's one thing doing friends and family(non paying customers) but just a word of caution..if you are going to undertake this treatment on a paying customer...even if it is only a small part of the overall treatment they are having please do check with your insurers.

Better safe than sorry and good luck
