SOmetimes I find I have a 40 mile round trip, and I'm wondering if this is normal. I do have local clients but I keep getting asked to go further out.

What's everyone's thoughts on geographical boundaries for spray tanning?

I think for spray tan's , nails or hair dressing , if they want you that bad they will pay some petrol.....40 miles is a long way and with petrol prices like they are, they should contribute a little....even if its £5.x

I am probably more lenient on spray tanning than some other treatments for how far I will travel as it is a fairly straight forward mobile appointment to do and is pretty quick to do too.

If I compare a spray tan to some other treatments i.e. nail enhancements for a similar treatment price (overlays as an example) I could have done the spray tan and be back home whilst still doing the nails.

Does that make sense?

i do 8 miles max then it's extra unless there's more than one to spray

Hi thanks for your replies, I'm the same way of thinking Teresa, hope I spelt your name correctly, sorry if not, I will travel further stick a fiver on for fuel, and it can still work out better money wise as it only takes ten minutes.

I suppose it's a hard one really.

I would say a 40 mile round trip should mean charging a little extra.

I add £5 to clients living over a 10 mile radius of my house. If they want you and your services that much (because they know you are good) then they will have no problem with this extra cost.

This is what I do and its always worked well for me! xx

Have just bought a new peptide tan system for mobile. the product is really good - they say it stimulates natural melanin, any body used it just wondered how long the tan lasted as I have only just applied mine today. Oh... The company is beautylab

Sound interesting - do you have a web link?
