Hi there all beauty therapists

I was just wondering what treatment is most popular in your salon/mobile business?

I find mine is waxing, but during the summer months manicures and pedicures come a close second.

Also if any of you are also trained in nail enhancements where do they fit in with regards to popularity?

Waxing followed by Facials.

I hardly ever do Manicures

Pedicures are the most popular all year round next popular is waxing

Nail enhancements dont seem to be very popular at the mo but that is just par for the course at this time of year as everyone has just been on holiday and the kids need stacks of new stuff for the new school year and everyone is saving for xmas but when the office partys and xmas partys are here ( hopefully ) we will be run of our feet doing enhancements:lol:

only been trading a week but we do far more nails than other treatments.
after nails (acrylic) it would have to be eyebrow wax/shapes.

Mine is waxing male and female, especially intimate waxing....

Here it's waxing (esp. intimate waxing, same as Sarah - it's a specialist service that people travel miles for), then massage. Mine is a men's salon, however, so that might have some bearing on the results! :D

mine is spray tanning, eyebrow waxing & tinting & Nail Enhancements

Definitly waxing for me then mini manicures and mini pedicures.

Nail enhancements are going not too bad now (don't do many really but they are getting more popular - yeh!)

My most popular treatment is nail enhancementss, by far. Next to that is probably waxing and spray tanning. I do the occasional facial, but wish I could do more of them.

Mine too is hair removal mainly facial hair for me. Although I did very few manicures in my first 6 months at the salon in the last three weeks I did 4 or 5. I enjoy doing facials but at the moment only do a couple each month.

I do more waxing then anything... and this carries on through the entire year. Next to that, probably pedicures. And I also do more "intimate" waxing then anything. Seems pretty popular this past few years.

Hi, I work at a Warners hotel, (no children) so the clients are all older and arent so keen on waxing. I cant decide the most popular, in the summer it was definatley pedicures, now I think its facials and back massages.
We dont do artificial nails where I work, but I am qualified in them and I do mobile work in my spare time and artificial nails is my most popular.

Got to be nails
I think that it is about 70% nails
5% facials & pedis
10% make-up
15% wax & spray tanning

My whole day is sometimes infills & full sets.

Acrylic nails is the most popular followed by waxing and then tanning. Waxing and tanning rise and fall with the seasons but nail enhancements are constant all year through.

This thread has been very usefull to me,thankyou.

I am starting to look into opening a salon,i personally will be offering nail services ( specialist after more training ) .

I will also be having a sunbed and was thinking about having someone for waxing only ,howeverlooking at the posts i think spray tan may also be the way to go .

Thanks geeks x

Definately nail enhancements. My day is usually full of them. After that it would be waxing.

My takings are in this order:
Nails/Beauty (busy) 55% of business
Sunbeds (steady) 36% of business
Spray tan (slow) 7% of business
Retail (slow) 2% of business

spray tanning is definitely my most popular treatment at the moment! xx
