Oooh that reminds me...

I have a Shoe box (it's from a very expensive pair of shoes may I add)

If I punched some holes into it and stuck four 36w lightbulbs in it and had my Hubbie rig it up, would it cure my shellac properly?

I can paint it white so it will look the real thing... what would be the difference?

I just need to save a few quid... great idea eh?!:!:

Hey Izzi, if I decide to go mobile, will you and Fiona be on-call for lamp questions? Angelina221 already told me to open it, I need to throw it on the floor but in case I need to know how to make my lamp go warp speed or something like that, I really think you should be available to me.

That reminds me, LED lamps cure in 30 seconds so is there a button on my CND lamp that converts it to an LED lamp so that Shellac will cure in 30 seconds? Not that I can polish that fast or anything.

Ooooo. Ooooo. Is there a button on my CND lamp that will make me a faster polisher?

What's your number, Izzi? I've got questions.

You live where the sunshines, why cant you just sit your clients outside and let the natural uv cure their nails, now that would save you a few pennies :wink2:

Orrrrr a sunbed!!! That way you get a tan too, you know how uv lamps are the same as sunbeds! Lol

Both excellent ideas...and yes, all UV lamps are EXACTLY the same!!! I must confer with Izzi, Angelina and Fiona first though. I MUST ask questions of them.

I was thinking...the lights in the ceilings throughtout the salon are fitted with UV bulbs. Why can't I just have the clients stand on a ladder with their hands up against the ceiling?

Fab idea, do your ceilings have ceiling fans? They could also get a haircut at the same time!!!

I like the way you think, Katty! If we brainstorm it, we could possibly figure a way to do threading at the same time using ceiling fans.

You nail guys are so technical.
We facialists find that a bit of sandpaper, for exfoliation, followed by a smear of oil...any will do, diesel, chip fat, or if you're a high -end salon, baby oil...to slick the skin, will send your client out looking lovely and pink and shiny.
