SECRET SANTA GEEK 2009​

Yes, it IS that time of year again. And I hope that all of you are looking forward to it too.

But..... I need two things.
1- I need an Assistant Elf with plenty of time on her hands (I am healthy this year LOL but.... time restricted...lol) and I seem to recall it ran VERY smoothly last year..... hint hint) hehehe)

2- I need everyone to agree on a cut-off date for name submission. We know what the post is like, and we know how we all get in December with no time for anything. It would be GREAT if everyone had their gifts MAILED by the end of NOVEMBER... thus avoiding a great deal of insanity.

I would just like 2 volunteers (have one already :green and I need everyone to agree on the cutoff date for submissions of their participation AND the send date.

I'm "thinking" a cut-off for submissions ought to be 15th November 2009? So that people have approximately 1month to submit their names, then approximately 2weeks to shop so they can ship before December 1st to miss all the chaos of the post in december (especially for those shipping overseas) and because we are all so very busy in Dec, we might forget to ship our parcels? (whoops, lonnnng sentence, huh? I'm out of breath from that one LOL)

What does everyone think?

I love my pressie from Stephen (Sknight) last year and I too am still using it (well I will be when it gets cold again!) 15 November sound great, plenty of time for ppl to get names in and time for shopping. Will it be long enough for you all to allocate names and things though? I'm sure you've though of that and factored it in though so I'll shut up now and say yes please add my name to the list! Lx
