Spray tan which brand??? advice please!

hi all,

I am looking to start offering spray tanning in my salon i have looked into which brand to offer but would really like some advice on brands the ones i had in mind was sun labs, tantrick, sienna x or he-shi does any one use any of these? also looking for advice on pop up tent and compressor was thinking about the sun labs sun system 10 or the t200? also training wise would be gratefull for a good recommendation! xx

There are quite a few to choose from and we all have our own favorites! I use couture i think they are brilliant! And they have some fantastic compressors available ive had mine from their for 2 years and never failed on me (touch wood lol)

Best thing to do is get samples from the companies try them out and see what you think is best. xx

I'm just about to start spray tanning aswell, I've been a fake tan junkie for years lol I've tried alot of fake tan in that time! I really like xen tan as it never turns orange on pale skin as some do, I'm really pale naturally scottish blue :lol: and found with even the good fake tans I needed to apply more to go darker but it always ended up a bit orange eek! but xen tan does not. hth xx

every one has a preference to which brand they prefer to work with. I get good results with urban tan and the customer service i get is fabulous. I always speak to the same guy and i know if i have any questions i can leave a message on his mobile and he will get back to me asap.
I would get in touch with the companys you prefer to deal with and ask for samples and then make your own mind up.

The T200 is a great machine for spray tanning,
i can recommend Tantrick for the solutions (fab) and for the training,
the training with tantrick is on a 1 to 1 basis so you get 100% attention,

You can ask every single one of us and nearly everyone will tell you different. It's personal preference really. The best thing to do would be to try them on yourself before deciding which one is for you. I am a strong believer in believing in your products/services in order to sell them. If you get stuck with a brand you don't like it will be harder to sell your service xxx

The trainers will come out to you to teach and only ask you to cover their traveling costs but there should be one near you, we cover the whole of England,

thanks louby thats great tantrick is ticking all the boxes at the moment! would you happen to know roughly how many tans you get to a liter so i can work out a approx cost per treatment i know the amount used per tan will vary and get better with experiance but was looking for a rough idea! xx

You should be using no more than 50 mls per tan so you would get 20 + tans from 1 litre :hug:

You can contact the trainers nearest you directly and they will advise you on any possible additional costs for them to come out to you as they are much more familiar with the distances involved.

Unfortunately the south west side of the UK is a difficult one for us and your nearest academy would be Cherish in Gloucester and you can contact them directly on 01666 504222 ask for either Louise Wood or Haley

May be a bit late but worth checking out Tan Addict, their solutions are lovely and they will come to you for training etc. They do machines as well all different ones, if your starting up they give you some free promotional material as well. The Sales Manager is Jo and her number is 07961 732698, if you:smack: call the main office they'll give you her number, so she'll not mind you calling her, i have recommended a few people and they have been really happy. Hope you get sorted soon x

I have booked my training with Tantrick in May so am reading all these spray tanning threads with great interest. All equipment ordered and have spoken to my trainer already. Looking forward to it and can,t wait to get started.
