Hello,

Does anyone know the best product to help with deodorising feet. I want to use it after my pedicures and possibly for retail. I have had a few clients ask (for their partners) and for them as we get into the hotter months.

Anyone use them or sell them?

Thanks

Carly

Get a catalogue from Smart Buy - they have excellent pedicure products, and they definitely have something for sweaty feet. I can't remember what it's called and no time to look it up, but I do recommend you get their catalogue

Hi,

I dont know of any products that you can purchase that will help do the trick, but I know of a home remedy that helps! If you soak feet in warm water with tea bags in it a couple of times, over a period of time, it should help get rid of bad odours!

This might sound abit gross, and you most definantly wouldnt want to do this on clients in the salon....you would just get them to try it at home maybe?

I personally havnt tried this, but have had a family friend of mine try it as she had this problem, and it worked for her!

These 2 products from Gehwol are great.

Fusskraft Green - For sweaty feet - naturally fresh. Contains well-tried disinfecting substances for the prevention of athlete's foot, itching, and the formation of blisters between toes.
Fusskraft Herbal Lotion - Eliminates foot odour. Cools and refreshes tired feet, softens calluses, and prevents itching of the skin and athlete's foot.

Here's a link to the Gehwol site. Gehwol Online

Sweaty feet and stinky feet are 2 different issues and many get the 2 confused .......

For stinky feet, make sure they are very dry before putting on socks/stocking etc ...... even blow dry them.

Many people are lazy when it comes to drying their feet.

I advise people to leave their clean socks/stockings at the front door and that is the last thing to do before going out .... put them on :)

Mundo also do a hand and foot spray that can be used before doing any manicure or pedicure.

Sorry it's not a professional product as such as you can get it in Boots but my fiance had smelly feet for years and they are always wet with sweat whatever the weather, he is unlucky that way.

Anyway I was listening to a program with a podiatrist talking about smelly feet and white pitting on the feet and it said it could be a bacterial problem because obviously if they are constantly wet then bacteria can multiply. I thought nothing would cure them but then I saw Peditech in boots, which said it killed the bacteria, you spray your feet with it before putting on your socks and low and behold a miracle, I have not smelt a thing since and his feet look normal again after years of suffering!

It's not a smell covering deodorant as it hardly smells, it is a foot treatment so doesn't just temporarily mask the odour.

You may be able to buy from them direct to sell to your clients as there is a section on the site it's worth a try
PEDITECH | Fights Foot Odour FAST

Thank you for all of you replies.

I will do a trial and error recomendation to see what works best. Everyone is different so some may work better than others.
