Does a Primary School Teacher have a specific subject like English or do they briefly icover every subject? (just wondered)
CHAV is supposed to stand for 'Council House And Violent'...
In french there is an expression
"A tous les jours, on est moins niaiseux"
Meaning to learn something new everyday.
I did French from 5 years old Victoria and although my conversation isn't brilliant, I know quite a bit of vocab and it comes in useful during Paris Fashion Week when ordering French Onion Soup and Red Wine (anyway that's another conversation):smack: .
I don't know if it's the same in Quebec, but apparently, the Parisians would prefer you to speak PERFECT French or not at all!! I always make an effort and try but they always answer me in English (and it's not beacause my accent is not good:!: )... not long ago a lovely model with a Parisian Mama and Austrian Papa told me I'm better off just talking English because the French hate it if you can't speak it perfectly!
I would LOVE to know your thoughts on this!!
:green: That made me giggle ,you're never to old for your mum to tell you off :green:but look I have let my daughter hijack my thread!!! Back to topic if you please.
