There is no colour base. I have just mixed the glitter with my clear gel.
The glitter is a nail graphix glitter not a sweet squared one.

I'll need to try that technique. I normally use a base colour then cure then dip in glitter before top coating.

So you make a glitter paste with your clear gel? I have thought of this but wondered if I'd have difficulty getting complete coverage of the nail. Will I need a few coats of the glitter mixed with gel?

I find you get a better colour saturation with iridescent glitter when you mix the glitter with the gel rather than the dip method. I find it less messy too.
I use a thinner viscosity of gel and mix in my glitter, I use a pallet to do this so you only mix a small amount. I do tend to use 2 layers of the glitter mix, to ensure even coverage and full cure.
