I finally got around to using new shellac!! Couldn't decide what to do tho, so on one hand I've got dark lava with silver chrome and reversed on the other hand!! I can't decide which I like best!!

There is no colour base. I have just mixed the glitter with my clear gel.
The glitter is a nail graphix glitter not a sweet squared one.

I think I'll have to try some nail graphix glitters, I don't like the martha stewart ones (after buying a pack for £25!!) I prefer for it to actually look like glitter which this does! Just did one foot of rockstar with martha stewart ones and took it straight off again grrr!! Thanks for the recommendation xx

I used a nail art pen with a dotter end and dipped it in my A la mode pink and dotted on. Then cure then top coat

I'll need to try that technique. I normally use a base colour then cure then dip in glitter before top coating.

So you make a glitter paste with your clear gel? I have thought of this but wondered if I'd have difficulty getting complete coverage of the nail. Will I need a few coats of the glitter mixed with gel?
