Love - this thread! And... Gelish, Glitter, ring finger manicures, ombre nails.
Hate - unpolished toenails in flip flops. Why?! Chipped nail varnish. Client's who insist on keeping those one or two long nails because 'it's the only one I haven't broken, please don't file it down'.

Yes!!! How did I forget to add the 'keeping the odd one longer' thing.... just looks daft!

I love that ''can you get me an acrylic kit so I can do my own nails'' line.
Makes me laugh so much, especially when they say well all you need to do is dip your brush into the water and then that power stuff! Ahaha

Bearing in kind these women can't even paint their own nails! :|

Another hate;

Way over exagerated nail beds on enhancments.

Having such painfull hands I cannot wear acrylics for more then a few hours before the pain is unbareable.

Another love;

Lovely bright toenails that are filed to all have a crisp straight free edge.

Love - gelish... no idea what I did without it!!
Accent ring fingers, esp glitter.
Rockstars
Konad/Bundle Monster - but not all designs, some make me cringe ;)
Beautiful enhancements
Minx toes

Hate - huge white big tips
Dodgy enhancements
Naked nails esp in peep toe shoes!!
Nail bows
Clients who smudge/knock their nails when curing in the lamp!!!
When clients dismiss my aftercare advice

xxx great thread

Love:

Polish Pro
Well balanced french with extended nail bed (any colour tip)
A set of enhancements that looks natural and when people really have to look hard to tell if they are real or not:)
Glitter french.
Nice simple accent nail or 2.
Nicely shaped nail that matches cuticle shape and finger shape.

Hate:

French that is not balanced (the tip MUST be only 1/3 of the entire nail length and no more:)
Too much nail art of any kind, where the nails look to busy.
Colors that don't match nicely when doing nail art.
3D nail art, it just looks chunky and fake.
Duck feet nails (OMG! just shoot me now:)
Stilettos.
Wide sidewalls.

That's all that I can come up with right now.

Non professionals saying how 'easy' doing their own acrylics is?!!
Clients who dont follow aftercare!!

Yuk, yuk, yuk. I bought the Mehaz Professional Wide Jaw Straight Toenail clipper http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mehaz-Profe...89FG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1350906636&sr=8-1 Its great, collects all the clippings, its strong enough to get through the toughest toenails and it cuts straight across. Wouldn't be without it now.
