My name on here comes from a little boy I used to look after, he couldn't pronounce karen so kankan came about, and stuck!! 15 yrs on i still get Christmas cards addressed to kankan!! Same child who used to call traffic lights f***it lights! I was never sure if it was because he couldn't say it properly or if that's was what his parents called them hehe
My kids both call my brother Andy clandy instead of uncle Andy.

These are all adorable! Both my lads were quick talkers so not many amusing ones!

My 2yo does for some unknown reason call pears (the fruit) carrots :S and rainbow is rainbooo

My now 8yo brother on the other hand had some crackers! I bought him one of those snakes on a stick that you wiggle on the floor, all you heard for days was him running round shouting "ohh no its a nake!"

If he wanted the light off he would say " turn the spoOoOoky on"

Think my fav was when he was a dr who obsessed toddler and referred to daleks as garlics.... my sister was cooking once and he didnt half look worried when she said she was going to chop some garlic haha

Xx

My son used to shout c*ck for clock too & a flag is a slag!! That qas embarrasing when my daughter shouted look at the huge slag mummy & a rather large lady turned round!!

Haha these are so funny! I have a 2.5yo and my favourite of his is "where's this pum from?" Instead of "come from" haha. Cracks me up every time!

The other day he came out with "hello mummy, good to see you" I had to get to him to repeat it, I thought I was hearing things.

Xx

This is more a story tha words but it tickled me so here goes:

me, the eldest, at the time about 5, and the youngest 3, walking home, the youngest points out she's got a hole in her woolly tights, right on the knee, about the size of a 2p coin....the eldest gets all indignant and goes "well we are NOT going back for the missing piece" !

made me laugh! x

When my nephew was small his name for chocolate was " cochi frittigies" !! Please dont ask because we have no idea why, he's 32 now and we still call it that in front of him :0)) xx

I hate it when my daughter gets older and says the correct words! : (

My 6 tear old still says exgusting for disgusting lol and used to day bitch instead of witch
I used to get called mimmy instead of mummy too which my 20 month old now calls me too. My 20 month also asks for dink instead of drink and calls her daddy diddy. And banana is nanana.

I think I'm going to start writing them down as it's easy to forget these things x

Must share that one summers day my mum said she was really hot, my daughter said don't worry nanna I'll blow you and cool you down! Hehe

She's now 6 and had been looking through the fancy dress catalogue and came and asked for a cheer leader dress and a naughty school girl outfit!!! lol

Just remembered that Atomic Kitten were in the charts when my eldest was little.

She used to call them "Tommy Kitten" lol
