No what side was it on ? Must look out for a repeat on Sky.

I did, I watched it both nights and it is on for the rest of the week.

The programme is on UK TV Style.

I was a bit disappointing with the programme to be honest, thought it was a little bitty and nothing really of substance.

omg i just read the article, thats bad! i can't believe people would do those sort of things, let alone tell the whole nation on TV!
I'm going to try to watch it tonight after college. x

I don't think the show originally mentioned is the show Weezie found an article about. I did watch the one xAnnaBannAx talks about on Living Tv a few weeks back but found it a but frustrating, very bitty. It occasionally would mention a product in a test or during an article and then not tell you what it was and just referred to it as a high street brand.

The program mentioned in the Sun article sounds horrendous and I cannot imagine why anyone would recount the tales they did on tv. I cringed enough when I read the topic on here a while back with Geeks saying some of the things they had happen during treatments  I've always fancied a facial but been put off by the thought of having someone leaning over me, the story told by some one in the Sun about snot dripping has put me off for sure now so gawd knows what it will do for other prospective clients out there. As for the lad with the foundation brush, words fail me :grr:

If I remember rightly the production company came on here and were asking for therapists 'experiences' for the programme, and were sent packing....... Without wishing to be too high and mighty over it, what are the participants thinking?????? How do they think this will help them in their career? And what does it say about our industry :grr:?

Cheap television, and the therapists who 'share' will find themselves out of a job at the end of it......

Sorry! I didn't realise they weren't the same program!

Just to add, as I only just noticed, that the Sun article in the link is dated November 2006 and seems to be for a show that aired that December.............

My bad! sorry again! I really want to see this program.

Sorry hun, I must look like I'm singling you out but I'm not, honest

Program sounded really cringe worthy, one of those so bad you cant not look type things

No don't worry I didn't think that, just felt bad for posting the wrong thing

The programme i watched last night was on...must of been about half 11...and it was on regular tv but not sure what channel i was watchin now.
I did think when i was watchin it...its not the best advert for this industry really is it...but then its like any industry...i mean look at the one where gordan ramsey goes into a restaurant and shows you all the disgusting things going on in someones kitchen...then sorts it out...it doesnt stop us eating out does it.
The stories they were telling last night were quite shocking to say the least! but it was hilarious...probably the way it was told tho...obviously i wouldnt find it so funny if it happened to me or someone i know!!
I couldnt believe the one where the hairdresser was cutting this lads hair and slipped..giving him a little bald patch..so he told the lad he had alopecia! not only that...he then went on to recommend he had a course of treatments for alopecia...which this poor young lad did...none the wiser!!

I thought the one where the hairdresser wanted to get off early for a night out..ended up tellin her last client she had headlice! was pretty funny lol

And as for the woman giving a facial massage whos nose dripped onto her clients face..so she carried on massaging it in basically............ewww groce!! lmao

Aaah so you are talking about the program Weezie found the old article for. My appologies to Weezie then. I didn't see any program like that last night on the main non sattelite channels, only the one on the Sky/Cable ones. Oh well, maybe they will repeat it though.

Have to say though I dont think I would have laughed at the hair dresser telling her last client she had headlice. Especially not having sat in a salon earlier this year and heard my hair lady discussing with another how the client before had been asked to leave mid haircut because she had nits. How terrible must she have felt in a busy salon. I would think she would have felt even worse if she knew they were saying how disgusting it was and having a giggle. Thats before you get to anyone recognising their beauty or what ever lady on tv and wondering if she was the one she dripped on. I think its pretty terrible

They may have made it all up - by using some of the things that us lot mention on here.

I don't believe anything on tv - they always stretch the truth for good television.
