Fifty Shades of Grey eBook: E. L. James: Amazon.co.uk: Kindle Store
Book 2
Fifty Shades Darker eBook: E L James: Amazon.co.uk: Kindle Store
Book 3
Fifty Shades Freed eBook: E L James: Amazon.co.uk: Kindle Store
Or all 3 to be read in above order:
Fifty Shades Trilogy: Fifty Shades of Grey / Fifty Shades Darker / Fifty Shades Freed eBook: E L James: Amazon.co.uk: Kindle Store
(All my links are to the Kindle versions but paperbacks are available too).
Hint - If your going to buy the books you will want all 3 so just order them all at the same time.
They are available in most supermarkets BUT are often sold out and they cost less than £5 each.
I think most people find Amazon one of the cheap but quick ways of getting hold of the actual books (most poeple I know get them on kindle).
Fifty Shades of Grey: Amazon.co.uk: E L James: Books
Fifty Shades Darker: Amazon.co.uk: E L James: Books
Fifty Shades Freed: Amazon.co.uk: E L James: Books
With all due respect Izzi, I think you are taking the book way too seriously. If it's not for you and not your cup of tea, then fine, don't continue to read it, no one is forcing you :wink2:
There will be plenty of people that this Trilogy of books doesn't appeal to but, the majority (and talking here about people I know who are reading it or have finished reading it, which is quite a lot of people at the mo), have enjoyed it and mainly for the story involved rather than the sex side of things. It has apparently outdone Harry Potter in terms of fastest selling paperback of all time and I have only heard very few people slate it.
As for the film, who knows how they'll do it. For all we know it could be done tastefully so it's not actually bordering on porn at all. I'm pretty sure a lot of the sex scenes would be cut out and the story itself concentrated on more.
For me, the story and characters are what kept me gripped not when I could read the next sex scene. Everyone's imaginations interpret books in their own way. I personally liked the characters and whilst I would never let a man "dominate" me in that way, I still found sides of his character intriguing and charming and the relationship between them made me giggle on several occasions. Nowt wrong with that, it's fantasy as you say, take from it what you will, read or don't read but we've all enjoyed it, so are enjoying saying so and I didn't foresee for one minute that my thread would be turned into one where it needs in depth discussion.
It's just chit chat
