This weather in London makes me realise how hard mobile work would be in a hot country! I have changed my top twice today and just had a cold shower before heading out again. I have no air conditioning so my car feels like a sauna!

I can't handle the heat but luckily just have a facial and a spray tan left today!

Anyone else suffering?

i am really tired today because of the heat

I feel like a bit of chewed string - I've put off doing everything today, still better than pouring down:)

You miserable lot! First proper good day and you're all moaning. :) Mind you, I'm bloody freezing stuck in a room with no fresh air, no windows and bonkers air con. Have just checked the temperature and it's 17oC! Brrrrr

I don't like summer (sorry!). I hate being too hot, I hate wasps, ants, flies and daddy longlegs, I'm not keen on using suncream every day and I really don't like having flesh on show. I do like barbeques though ! I much prefer Spring and Autumn.........

Hope you're not shivering too much Sals!

I'm stuck in a freezing office too, with poxy air-con!! Its freezing :irked:

When I walk outside, it the heat really hits you ... but it soo nice! I never have the air-con on in my car, I would rather have the windows open! I love summer ... when its like this, I wish I had a job outside!!

Hi Yvette.

I couldn't have put it better myself. Most people think I am crazy for not liking the summer; they wait all year for it to arrive and all I do is moan. I am the only person I know who feels like this and I feel like there must be something wrong with me, so it's nice to hear these things from someone else!

Give me spring and autumn anytime :)

Weezie, how about traveling in a loose t-shirt, then changing into your tunic when you arrive? I'm sure clients wouldn't mind

Well I'm loving it. Went down the beach with my mum & daughters + picnic yesterday & today. Will probably do same again tomorrow.

Glad I'm not working in it though as the salon can get unbearably hot. Oh the joys of having staff :)

We have to enjoy the sun while it's here. Before long it'll be Winter

We normally don't get much summer - well according to the calender we are but not in real terms - so I am sitting in the office looking longingly outside - bet the weekend is rainy....

No matter how hot I would not dare to complain as it will get cold and miserable far too quickly again :O)))

I'm so glad to see some others don't like the summer heat too! I hate the heat, my body doesn't have a very good cooling mechanism.

Zo zo thanks for the tip but I am wearing t-shirts as I can't bear the feel of a tunic!!!! I may change to wearing shorts too soon!

Think I may have lost a stone in sweat today. Definately the hottest so far. I worked from 9.30am to 8.30pm flat out only resting while driving between clients. No one had air conditioning that was working so was sooooooo hotttttt! I nearly lost the will to live!

me three! I dont like the summer either. I love it when its warm enough to walk around in capri pants and tee-shirt and a gentle breeze.

I hate putting suncream on, I hate the fact that the son is out in it for 12 hours without shade, enough suncream on or a hat!

I hate flies landing on me every 3 seconds.

I much prefer early summer - thats perfick.

Oh, I also am very freckly, and got teased a lot at school, so I started staying in the shade or inside to avoid getting more freckles, and then covering myself up as much as possible, so think 'summer' is psychosymatic with me.

Wait until next month when its annual wasp holiday time!

we would all be moaning if it were raining all the time, i reckon those of us that actually like the nice weather should make the most of it - this is our summer, and it aint gonna last for long - as per usual

im loving it - the sun shining, makes you feel alot happier than when its raining

ummm... just a tad

We went to see our friends on Saturday, at 4 or 5pm'ish it was 37 C in the shade!!! It's just gone 11.30pm and my kitchen is 35 C, it's approx 30 C in our bedroom and I'm off to sit in the aircon'd living room in a few minutes

It's the same every day now and to be honest it's getting a bit wearing, but, I mustn't moan, we'll soon be huddled around the log burner complaining that we're too cold

I'm not jealous, I'm not jealous at all :lol::lol:

I'd much rather be cold than hot! You can't take your skin off when you're hot but you can put on more clothes when you're cold!

I have to say I'm a summer lover! I love it! My husband on the other hand is total opposite (in more ways than one, lol!)

Bring it on, and long may the sun shine :green:

xx
