I spray tanned my friend yesterday and on one arm, along the under side there is a pale/white stripe. I think i missed the area, I don't think its anything she has done. I only did my training just over a week ago and have done 14 tans, all of which have turned out very well. Would you respray a stroke over the area or mist it on in circular motions or fill in with another method?

I would just re-spray that area the same way as you would have done in the first place, I am sure it will be fine. Hubby sprayed me once and missed the inside of my leg, sprayed it again the next day and it was fine

You could try using a lower % than the original when blending in patches so as to mitigate making areas that do still have a tan to dark compared to the bare areas.

Once you have done this once or twice you will be a pro

I did the exact same thing a couple of weeks ago! Sprayed a girl for her prom and she came back the next day and i had missed a complete stripe down her arm
Someone on here suggested i put barrier cream on the bits that were already tanned and then just spray the area i had missed.
It worked a dream and i used the same % i had in the first place.
One happy client and one very relieved therapist!

Thanks guys. I misted over the backs of her arms in a circular motion with same %. I saw her yesterday and they looked great. Clients do think their feet are also a little pale but not missed. would you advise spraying them in a similar way as you do the hands, 3 strokes up and with the gun held further away?

What do you use for barrier cream and where did you get it from?

I just used vaseline :)
It does for me. I get clients to put a bit of moisturiser on elbows, knees, backs of the heels and any other dry bits and then i put vaseline on finger nails and toe nails.
I use Cuticura moisturiser and professional beauty vaseline.
You really don't need to spend a fortune on exfoliating creams and barrier creams.

I would re-spray over the strip area.
