Omg i think i am going mad. I was complety ready to throw in the towel, but one of the girls at cnd has set me a challenge. One that simply would be stupid to turn down. So next wed i will be in leeds with one of there best trainers, so deb's do not forget what i said if it do not work it all your fault lol he he xxxxx:hug:

Wow, you lucky thing....what a fabulous opportunity, I work with LCN and Bio Sculpture but if I had my time over again and money was no problem I would love to train with Creative.

I'm sure if they can't give you your confidence back then nobody can!
Good luck and please let us know how you get on.

Caroline

Glad to hear you are gonna give it another go. I'm sure they will have you on track in no time x

whats the challenge flower

Great news but whats the challenge?

Good luck xx

Before i decided to give up nails i had booked on a conversion with creative so that i could buy there l and p rather than the sample sizes. But because i have been havin nail disaster after nail disaster and already spent a fortune on them i thought i needed to concentrate on what i specialise in. The conversion had been canceled and i felt the conversion was going to be no use as was not going to do nails. So asked for my money that i had paid to be used in minx in stead. Debbide was horrified that i was giving up and asked me why. Did i see the nails after they had fallen off, because more than likely the client had pulled them off and as all my other ladies were staying on she questioned it.
Any way to cut along story short she said right, come next week. Do one to one for a full day with one of our best trainers , and if then i still have problems then i can call it. She said i challenge u to do the training because she thinks that this is what i need to fill in the gaps. Like she said if i can not do them after a day with her then except it is not for me. So i said well if i can not do them i want my money back lol because it will be all her fault for getting me to do it. She and i had a right laugh on the phone she is fab is our debs xxx

I am De-Lighted for you Mate! there is nothing more frustrating then not getting the results you want You have been investing heavily lately and maybe all you needed was 121 for someone to sit behind you and guide you where you are going wrong.

Good Luck

Hi Jen,
Enjoy your 1 2 1. I am sure you will be OK after that.
Sounds like you will have a great day. Have you got your model?
Best wishes.
Lotsa luv x

Good luck hun and if you decide nails aren't your thing after this then so be it, but you may find yourself inspired after your course (I hope so) xxx

thats great news!
good luck for next week...i hope it all works out for the best xx

Best of luck with it all, I really hope that it goes well for you hun

Woooooooohooooooooo! :)

Thank u soooo much guys, really do not no what i would do with out you all at times:hug:.
I have a model, but debs was hopeing i would find some one else as she has very petite nails and her nails are quite short:|.
But i have done nails on her in the past and she is fab to work on if not harder to put a set on. But i think like this. If on my training day i can master her nails and do a good set, although will be difficult with her having such small nail plates, that if i can do hers then i will have been shown by an amazing trainer how to deal with a client with nails like this and hope fully as well will be able to trouble shoot all the areas i am strugglin with.
Because if i take some one with reasonably good nails, when i get that lady in like my lady that is coming with me, i would not no were to start and my confidence will be sacked all over again.
I no debs said that the trainer may decide that it is not achievable with her nails being so small and obviously another idea behind the course is to give me a boost, and that the trainer may say i need to work on the hand trainer:cry:.
But my feelings are, i have put vasts amounts of money and time into my training and business and although does seem to be on the up, i want so much to master nails, and to provide an exceptional servise to my clients. At the same time i hope she allows me to work on the client i bring because this is what tech s see all the time and have to master. I would like the trainer to help me master them and for them to stay on:lol: whilst looking good. we shall see. But i promise next week i will have up loaded pictures into my album and let you all no what the outcome is and whether me and nails have a future togetherxxxx:hug: whatever happens i will keep smileing, as i seem to have had knock after knock with one thing after anouther, but it seems to have made me a stronger and better person for it. Clients old and new, includin the set of nails that fell off that was kinda the iceing on the cake for me has rea-booked in her appointment after i sent a voucher and an explanation to her. Which has really made me smile. Last week i had five ladies booked in for waxing and party lashes, next week i have thirteen ladies booked in for all different treatments, old and new so as my hubby says it can only get better and for a new hone salon with the credit crunch and not huge amounts spent on advertising, i think even if i can not perfect these nails i shall give myself a slap on the back for battling through for trying again and for not giving up on my home salon even with all the complications i have had. Keep fingers and toes crossed for me guys, time i had some luck me thinks xxxxx

I've just completed day 4 of my 5 day foundation course with Creative and I'm loving it - they are great trainers & have lovely products so I'm sure everything with go hunky dorey!

Enjoy and let us know how you got on.

My personal opinion is that small nail plates are much easier to work on than large ones. If this weren't so then why do students generally in my experience, do great pinkies and not so great larger nails?? Large nail plates pose a much greater skill challenge.

Best of LUck!! Hope it gives you what you're aiming for. I'm sure it will...I loved my training with Creative and will be adding to my list of acheivements with them next year!
Enjoy your day!!!

P.S. I did my foundation course with a model with very small nails. I was so nervous about it as everyone around me had 'normal'. I found it fine.
