I was in a shop called 'Savers' today getting some deo and stuff, when I just happened by the nail bits to see what the public could buy - as you do.
Well, I came across these little clear plastic screw top pots for 69p for 3!!! They are about the same size as a crushed shell pot or a boogie nights pot.
Fab, I can use these for my clients individual custom blends with their names on, or my own custom blended glitters or powders.
What I like about them is they each have a lid and are independent pots, as opposed to being in like a tube of pots with the bottom of one being the top of another iykwim!
Says they are suitable for liquids & creams, so should be OK for glitters and powders, gems and stuff!

Just thought I'd share:hug:

Oooh I have been looking for some of these, I will see if we have a savers where I live, I used to get them in hobby craft, but I hate the trek over to it (I am soooo lazy!)!

Cool! i'll have to have a look in the one in spalding and see if they have em in, they always come in handy for something!! lol

I got mine in the Boston store.
Tell you what JO? You get into spalding tomorrow & buy the lot & I'll go into Boston on Sat and buy what they've got left!
They are really great little pots and very handy to have knocking about!

yep, i'll get alex to take me there tomorrow!! :wink2:

thanks Bev, will be in going into savers on Monday to take a look.
Home bargains are good for 'travel containers' which sometimes consist of a couple of containers, a lotion bottle, a spray bottle and a pump action bottle.

OOh, thanks, we've got a big Home Bargains store in Boston, I'll have a look for that.
Empty containers can be quite expensive for my needs in the wholsalers. I'm not a tight ass! Honest! Too blooming generous my lot tell me lol!

Hi, do you mean to put gel in and mix ya colours in with it? are they clear will they be ok with light etc as i was wanting to do this x

Does anyone live near a Boyes ???I got some stacker jars from there in the hobby section.
They have about 8 sections that all screw together and also come in different sizes so they are ideal for keeping large bits in if you are into fantasy !

Hi Blackjack, I've got these stacker jars too. There are really useful for all sorts.
I like these other ones I've found also as they are individual pots with lids, so you can keep them seperatley.

No, they would not be suitable for gels, they are clear plastic and therefore the light would set the gels. Also, I wouldn't think they were sturdy enough - but fab for acrylic powders & glitters, gems etc.
