i am chuffed with this set ,my mate came over tonight so i could have a practice ..and i am so made up with these nails ..
i watched those tammy talor videos and lots of things clicked into place for me ,so i just adapted what she did ,with ways to suit my products and mixed with some tutorials of here ..oh yeah plus a bit of my training
and im made up ,my line of light is the best it has ever been my smiles are the best i have ever done (although there are a few not so smiley ones)
and i found filing easy peasy and quick !

have a look ...........

feel free to critique peeps ..im happy to take it lol

just looked back at my pics ,and noticed some off them are a bit pixelated (if thats a word)
so they look all bitty (no little britain jokes plz:) )at the free edges ,but in real life they arnt i promise lol ,

Wow Emma they are so good! I really like them!!! Is it your first time in sculpting? Well done if it is! There is no way I can do them as nice as that!!!

really lovely, Emma. look nice and natural.

they look very nice...well done. xx

very nice hun!!
only thing i noticed is some of the shapes of your free edges look different, some look squoval( sorry izzy!) some oval, some squarer, thats all, but excellent work, its great when it all comes together isnt it!

lol thought i best add ..when i say quick !
my friend was here altogether for about 4 hours but we fed kids and changed nappies and went to the shop and had about 4 cups of tea
but id say the actual set took mabey 2hrs
which is quick compared to usual which takes mabey 3 hours

i used a soft white and pink blush ..i brought the pink over the white thinly to tone the white down a little more
shes made up with them ,and so am i for a change lol

lotus yep hun some free edges are different ,that was getting on my nerves lol but i was scared of filing to much to try fix them incase i took them down to much :)
i kept making little adjustments and every time i looked back at the nails i seen another flaw ..id have been there all night if she didnt have to go home :)

they look nice hunnio,
well done :)

You've got some gorgeous lines of light there Emma... can't add anymore to what's already been said.
Excellent job :D

ooh thankyou so much for your comments !
im determind to crack sculpting ,so i can enjoy it and not dread getting it wrong lol ,

when my mate went to the shop ,the client i have booked in for tip and overlay on friday ,saw the nails and said she wants hers like that now ...
im wondering if i should charge more .than £15 now, to save increasing prices after xmas when i increase my other prices ..or should i keep it at £15 and put the price up when i do the others ?

and i know that sculpts are stronger than tip and overlay, and in my oppinion nicer !but im rubbish with wording things ,
can anyone give me advice on how to "word" why sculpts are better ?
so i dont just sound like its a sales pitch !

are you charging £15 for a full set hunnio?
how long on ave. do they take you and when did you pass ya coursE>?

i passed in may ish, either may or june it was
a normal tip and overlay takes me about an 1 1/2 hours - give or take 15 mins ...
but saying that if the client is a friend it can take nearly 3 hours all that gabbing and drinking tea
ive not done may sets of sculpts really though ,as not many people are clued up round here ,they all want sqaure white tips
ive converted a few ,but its my mission to do more

well to me if you can do a nice set in under 2hrs then your charging too little!
just raise your price a wee bit ... and see what happens ... im sure lots of clients will be willing to pay more for your nails ;)

Those look great! I really like them. I'd have you do mine if ya lived closer:green:

These are really pretty and natural looking! I'd just pay attention to the shape of the free edges (I think someone else already mentioned that too); I also noticed on one of the thumbs, that the sidewall got kind of "shortchanged" as it goes into the free edge. There's a notch there where the white should fill in to make a smooth line from sidewall to extension edge. HTH :D

Really lovely work! You should be proud. :)

Well done. They are beautiful!

they look really good emma........well done

I haven't even tried sculpting one nail yet. I've got to get those smiles perfecto first. You have done amazingly well and yes you should be very proud.

I do think you should be charging more for sculpting than tip and overlay though but if you are going to increase your prices in January maybe leave it until then or just let them know that sculpting is a fiver? more for now and re-do your whole pricelist in January.

Do you know what I mean or do I need that next cup of tea this morning!

They are great, well done! x

Lovely transformation ... I haven't quite mastered sculpting yet, but i'm willing to persevere 'til I get it right.

They are lovely and if I was a client I would be happy to pay £30plus for a set.

Defo. put your prices up. £15 does not even cover your time hun.
