I received my payout from the medical negligence claim against a private hospital in December so I had my corrective surgery on January 7th with Douglas McGeorge. He was the only surgeon in 4 years who said he could correct what these two butchers, I mean surgeons had done to me previously.

So far, things look absolutely great and 'normal', luckily I had been able to hide things under my clothes but it does make you think how awful it would be for people who have had botched facial surgery done.

I'm one happy bunny!

Like most women on here I got mine done after the birth of my 3rd child. Gaining 4stone whilst pregnant and then losing it all again coupled with breastfeeding for 10 months had left my little boobies looking rather deflated. I didn't ask for massive boobs as I was only a 32b to start with but I ended up a 32D as I had so much excessive, loose skin/tissue they needed more volume.

That was 8 years ago and I've never been happier, I absolutely love them and most people have said that they can't tell I've had surgery.

All I would advice is that people do their homework, make sure you check your surgeons credentials, check the GMC and see if they're listed on The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (very apt name - British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons). Although I have to say that surgeons who work for places like Transform are not allowed to be a member of BAAPS.

This is taken from their website... "All BAAPS Members are on the Specialist Register of Plastic Surgeons maintained by the General Medical Council and are required to return an annual safety audit of their work as a condition of membership."

I had mine done at BUPA, Little Aston by a Dr. Khan and I would thoroughly recommend him (if he's still there).

I am meeting my surgeon next week he is on the GMC list but not the BAAPS list, as anyone had Dr Persico for a breast enlargement at all? I know he does also work for transform and have heard lots of good results from people but just doing my homework as i am so so excited about having my implants I have been given a few dates that have become available really soon too which tie into my days off etc, How much time did everyone take off work, i have an assistant starting soon and cant really take much time off as im far too busy the next few months, im hoping i recover quickly

I had my nose done in January of this year. I've wanted it done for as long as I can remember. I was really self conscious of it - didn't like people looking at me from the side. I hated whenever a photo was taken of me and it caught me from the side profile - as my nose had a very large bump on it and it was also a little hooked.

It wasn't sore, it was a little uncomfortable when the plasters came off after 10 days and I had to be careful when pulling a top over my head! It was also very swollen when the plasters first came off and I was worried the swelling would never go down!

The swelling has gone down a lot now and I'm so happy that I got it done.
I would like to get breast implants as mine are very small and I constantly wear padded bras to feel more feminine!!
Just have to pay off the loan for my nose first :)

i had my ears pinned back on the nhs will be 3 years this year very pleased with the results and they have remained pinned back as sometimes they can stick back out....i had to wear a huge bandage around my head for a week then have it removed then wear a headband for 6 weeks after then....best thing ive ever done

I had my boobs reduced 5th March 1995! It was the best thing I ever did. I had them 'done' on the NHS (when I was 13 I was a 32D). When I got pregnant I went up to a 34J and in those 'old' days there wasn't Bravissimo. I used to have to order my bra's in John Lewis, they cost me £55 each bra and they were truely disgusting. So I went under the knife with Mr Layer (who now is Professor Layer) he was the leading authority in breast care (primarily for cancer).

Due to having 2 more children after the reduction my bust has risen :-( I went originally down from a 34J to a 34C and was sooo excited when I could finally walk into M&S and buy bras' off the shelf for £15!!

My boobs have gone up - as has my weight (on a diet now!!) I am currently a 36DD, but FML they have gone SOUTH! I am 43 and once I loose weight I think they will be like puppy dogs ears (not a good look in a bikini!) but would like to have them lifted and maybe implants? If I can get a bloody good bra to do it all for me maybe I won't bother!
I have never looked back and it was the best thing I ever did. It wasn't painful and gave me confidence!!

Thanks guys I'm hoping to be back at work after a few days I think I'm being very hopeful but I can't afford to take time off and no one to cover for me, I'm so excited I really can't wait x

Hi, I had my boobs enlarged 12 years ago, best thing I ever did , i had no bruising, no bleeding , no bandages, amazing, bit swollen for couple if weeks but I was driving car after 5 days, was told not to but I never do what I'm told lol, handbreak was difficult to use though . My implants have been perfect, still are, and 5 of my friends have had there's done after I raved about it so much.

I had full stomach Lipo-sculpture. I really wanted a flat tummy and after being a complete gym junkie it just didnt budge! I didmt really go in to have sides (love handles) done but she went over them anyway a little. I was a size 8-10 AUS and yes you all may think thats small but after being a size 5-6 AUS it felt bigger to me.
First go she took out 750mls - recovery was a long process as you are sore for a good 10 days - then you wear the compression garment for 2-3 weeks.
It took about 4 months to finally see good results but i still wasnt happy - so i went back again.

Second time she removed 250ml just from my belly about my pubic bone - i kind of questioned why this wasnt done the first time but they all seem to say less is more to start.

I still have that soft skin that i cant loose and i also now have 1cm scars to show for it and as im quite olive they stand out white!

I do like the fact that im smaller but i guess it wasnt what i had imagined - I do eat healthy and exercise but im not sure if lipo was worth the money.

Id love a nose job but after my experience im scared that the same sort of thing will happen and its my face not something i can hide!

I haven't had anything done (yet). But will definatley be getting things done in the future. Starting with getting my boobs put back to where they should be...not down near my waist ....Funnily enough, I have an almost perfect nose but I have one eyebrow higher than the other which really bothers me.

My sister had a reduction, then implants and excess skin on her belly removed.

She's currently doing her injectibles course so I'm hanging out to get my face filled in about 6 months time.

I had breast implants in December. I went from a 30a to a 30dd, I am very happy with them and wish I had done it sooner!

I had been teased at school for being so flat chested and I had been contemplating surgery for 8 years. I did a lot of research and after several consultations I finally settled with the Harley Medical Group. Their professionalism and friendly approach made me feel instantly comfortable and when I met the surgeon (Dr Riccardo Fratti) he took the time to explain the surgery, go through the different implants, and he even drew me a picture of where the scars would be! :)

Mine are over the muscle and look very natural, I just wanted to look more like a woman and that's exactly what I got!

As for the drains...yes I had them and yes having them removed was the most painful bit. I guess it hurts as it runs along the fresh scar tissue?!

If anyone considering breast implants has any questions feel free to pm me. I'm more than happy to help and it's all fresh in my memory :)
