I had my nose done in my teens and a further operation in my early 20's, very pleased with results, but it was very painful both times! but still worth it :)

They always look terribly painful and both your eyes go black. Anything is worth the pain if you want it so badly  xxx

Had a couple of clients who had breast implants. Both very happy with the results and said, most painful part was having the drains removed. And for them, (bearing in mind I had my table in a tattoo and piercing shop,) the best bit was that their nipples were numb for a couple of months so getting them pierced was great:eek:

I had my nipple done but had to remove it for level 3 electricals! Oh maybe i'll get it done again after my **** job :green: xxx

I got implants.
Prior to my kids, I had wee ones. After my kids, I looked like a boy. Didn't even have floppy skin I could stuff into a bra and pretend with. ZIP, NADA, ZILCH, NOTHING:!::!::!: I've seen tables lumpier than I was.

Got them done and never been happier. WISH I'd done them MUCH sooner. Probably would have helped with confidence and self image years ago....

Painful? Yes, mine went under the muscle (I had no fatty tissue to cushion them, so no choice, but that to make them look natural)
Done via the crease underneath, scar is invisible now.
The first 3 days I lived on gravol and painkillers (which was fine cause it made me sleep through the worst of it LOL).
The next 2wks, could hardly do anything at all and hubby had to wash my hair for me and brush it.
(You would be SURPRISED at how often you use the muscles under your breasts!!!!)

I would do it again in a heartbeat. When I first saw them, I freaked out and panicked that they were too big (well, compared to 'nothing'... they WERE big lol) But now I'm an average 34C, but can look like a 34B in sports bras. They're the perfect size to make them unoticeable or with a bit of underwire, VAVAVAVOOOOOOOOOOOOM.
When I complained to the Dr (because I had asked for B's), he said that they'd settle and wouldnt seem quite as big, and that he wanted them more proportionate to my size and given my age and the likelihood of putting on weight (geeee thanks:irked:) he wanted them to match the rest of me. Well, he trained for 10yrs in L.A. of USA... (capitol of ****yville, I thought LOL) so he must know what he's talking about.
Within 2yrs, they settled completely and you would never know that I had them done.
So, although I didn't put on weight, turns out that he was right.

I never had drains (not all dr's use them) and I wasn't allowed to wear a bra for 3mths. He said that natural movement would prevent the scar tissue and that massage was uncessary. He was right.
Although it drove me insane. I used pasties (stickers).. and was very conscientious and would layer my clothes (thankfully, done in the fall). I crossed my arms over my chest constantly.

I will NEVER regret it and if either of my daughter's has my problem that 'I' had at 18, I'll pay for them myself for them, IF they want them.
Nothing worse than not being able to wear certain tops or blouses or dresses because they either A) aren't cut for peeps that don't have bosoms or B) can't be worn with a bra. Cuts down your choices immensely. Nothing more embarassing than having 'dents' in your clothes LITERALLY because there are no bumps to put there.
And I've saved a FORTUNE on bras. NO more pricey push up water bras for me (35 - 70$).... now I can buy any old 5-10$ sling for these puppies. LOL

So, there ya go. Hope it answers your questions.
A FABULOUSLY informative site (although canadian) is canadaba.ca, and there's TONNES of info there on all the different methods, pics, what to expect etc etc etc.. and a chat forum to talk to others that HAD it done or are getting it done. GREAT site.

Hi, I had mine done 7 years ago, it was the best thing I ever did! I went from being completely flat to a 34c ( the implants were placed under the muscle) I made sure that my surgeon was aware that I didnt want to look like a circus freak or a porn star, just like a normal woman ( make sure you make it very clear if you go and have yours done cos the surgeon said the majority of ladies having the op want oversized ****s)
After my op I felt fine, the painful bit was having the drains removed but it only took a second so it was no big deal really. I had my op at 5pm on a wednesday and left the hospital at 10am on the Thursday. I got home, changed the sheets on the beds, hoovered, cooked and went back to the normal daily regime ( being a little careful of course)( I didnt have anyone at home to help me, just me n the three kids)
I would definately recommend having implants, its not life changing and I still have confidence issues but it had helped me to feel more like a woman. I have put on quite a bit of weight since having mine done, I get a bit down about it but I just think how much worse I would look if I hadnt of had the implants...I would have looked like a ****ah! / Humpty Dumpty :lol::lol:
My advice would be to use a surgeon who comes recommended. My surgeon did three people I knew after I had mine done and they were very happy so if you want his number PM me :)

I can't see how drains into the ****s are painful on removal ?, I've had lung surgery twice and had longer.thicker drains in my lungs, one case they were in for 7/8 weeks and upon removal they never hurt at all, just felf a bit funny...

I've also got a consultation on this Saturday with mya in Birmingham with a pc, I had one last year too with mybreast and they were fab, just trying to find the best deal/aftercare.

Here is a link to a good site that I have come across, I hope it can help

With me it was more than just cosmetic, I was born with a deformity, Hare Lip and Cleft Palate - my nose was kinda squashed to one side - think of Stephen Fry  lol Anyways, I had the first major op (had a fair few as a kid/baby) and I was so scared to look at myself and when I finally did it was awful. I looked like Miss Piggy, my nose on the end was all yellow from the iodine and turned up, massive pot and bandages across my nose/face/forehead and 2 black eyes!!!

anyways being only summat like 18 I stayed indoors for the duration of the time during healing and pot on, then my mum took me to Bradford St Lukes Hospital to have all stitches and pot removed- oh the stares   I remember I had on jeans, AC/DC t-shirt and denim jacket probably bovver boots lol I wonder why I got stared at lol and a lady in WH Smith in Bradford accused me of nicking a CD cheeky mare!! my mum was so appalled - imagine scarey mum coming to daughters rescue

Finally pot and stitches comes off, within minutes these massive Mt Vesuvius type yellow zits appeared, I was bruised and swollen - mortified was not the word

but was it worth it?? most definately :)

I had a face lift, upper and lower eye lift last July (pics in my album) best decision I ever made. I can also say it was totally painless, even tho with all the bruising it doesn't look it. Only problem I had was with the anesthetic, now that did make me ill, first time I had that sort of problem with anesthetic before.
If I ever decided I needed more work done I wouldnt hesitate.
Just make sure you do your homework as far as your surgeon is concerned, you can never be to carefull....xxx

I've not had surgery yet but do have botox and love it!

I have friends that have had breast implants. Some happy, some not! The two that are not went to a certain clinic in London and didn't feel the consultation was thorough enough and the wrong method was used that was inappropriate for them...(under / over muscle etc)

A friend of mine knows this surgeon and can't recommend him highly enough. He taught her how to do botox....As it happens, I'm getting my breasts done by him next month (16 sleepss!) so will let you know! I should do a blog!

Drains are only usually used in sub muscle impants...Have a look at those vids and it explains it really well. It's the 2cm pinch test!lol.breast implants.

You can get to Aurora Clinics through mybreast but if you are really sneaky (as i have learnt), you can phone the recommended place direct and avoid paying comission to them. Lol!

Forgot to say, the ones i'm having carry a lifetime guarantee! (not 5 - 10 years etc like some companies). I'm also invited back every year for an ultrasound. How good is that!

I like the fact that I'm going to a surgeon that has been doing it for a while and has his own clinic, as a lot of the consultations I have had in the past have been with surgeons that have moved about quite a bit and that worried me if something goes wrong down the line. It's only now that I've been 100% happy to proceed.

I'll let you all know how it goes. I'm happy to send regular pics to whoever would like to see them.

I have had a tummy tuck, leaving it a good long time until the kids were older, eldest at the time was 13, youngest 11. I had spent years in the gym and no amount of stomach crunches was going to get rid of the overhang of excess skin.

Therefore, I found a private consultant via my own GP. It appears that if the plastic surgeon consultants also work within the NHS they come with a good recommendation, but please don't quote me on this.

I never regretted it, except that my other half had another loan to pay off! It was painful but I still got on with household duties, you know what us women are like, we just get on with it!!!

If I had the money I would definitely have other procedures. Look at all the stars, a lot say they get old gracefully, but loads have bits botoxed, (me included when I had the free cash, sadly no longer) and pulled and tweaked, yet they deny it. Look at Victoria Beckham, she denied having her ****s done, I leave that one for you to all decide? X

I sure did! I used to be a real fitness freak. Having said that, I had an overdeveloped pectoral muscle and very little breast tissue - lots of skin but no fat for breasts. Got them enhanced 10 years ago and haven't looked back. I made sure that I didn't get them too large - I wanted them to look natural and just to replace what fitness had taken from me.

I have since had a child and now they are HUGE!

I started out a B cup - enlarged to a C cup and am now a DD cup - so kids can really make a difference.

Second op was Sep 08 with the hospital group they were great. they reconstructed my very saggy ****s took alot of skin away and put imlant unter the muscle, that bit is sore. I am over the moon with the result and would go back if wanted to have anything else done.

Good luck if there is anything I can help you with pm me... x
