Just got back from Excel with my trophy and guess what it says on it ???????

I am just thrilled. The awards night was fantastic.I did my acceptance speech and i didnt forget to mention this fab site in my thankyou's to the industry.

I cant thank Rachael Myatt, sam Watkinson and Andrea Fullerton enough, they were my judges and managed to calm my nerves completely as they were all so lovely. ( a big tip for anyone meeting Rachael for the first the first time - chocolate gets you everywhere!!!!! )

I really hope it opens many new doors for me and i get the chance to do some great things, i'll keep you all posted.

Hey Julia

Many congrats - it was a well deserved victory and huge pats on the back!! Not that I want to rain on your parade, but you actually won Best Nail Professional at Professional Beauty. I think Andrea Fulerton might get a bit annoyed if you mention that you won the title at the British Beauty Awards, as she currently carries the title for this.

Tis mighty confusing I know, but just so everyone knows! But Julia, I definitely think you should put yourself up for the title at this year's British Beauty Awards... then you'd have two titles to your name!!!
