Does anyone have any of the Simon Jersey asymmetrical tunics and have problems with the long silver buttons? I just received mine today and im finding the buttons really fiddly and doubting if they will last very long. :irked: Im unsure if i should return and re order the popper fastening type instead. Anyone got the popper fastening buttons and are they strong?

I have one its really nice i have had no problems so far but its only 3 months old, saying that all the buttons still feel secure hth x

Hi I have had mine for about 6 months and the buttons are still all there hun. I know what you mean tho, I didnt think they would last long, but proved me wrong and I quite like them..

ahh i had a simon jersey tunic.. buttons all over the salon, forever popping off!

now i've got a zippy one from la beeby... much better and quicker in the morning ;)

I have one to for college I only wear it 3 hours a week and lose one every week I hate it and would never wear it in my salon.:irked:

I got mine and my staff tunics from here, the tunics themselves are fine, it's just the flipping buttons!!!

They pop off everywhere, one yesterday whilst I was doing a spray tan, lol

We now keep an emergency sewing kit behind the reception desk x

I have this tunic for over a year now and it washes great and the buttons have been fine... hth xx

i have this tunic and i have sewn all the buttons on myself and i've had it a good six months now with no embarrasing incidents:o

Hi,
Yes I have the same tunics, 2 pink, 1 lilac, 1 brown (supposed to be my spray tan one), say anything so I can buy more stuff.
Buttons fine on all 4, bit fiddley to fasten with long nails, I have had mine 2 years now, but as I am only part time they are not worn very often, and I have taken a few months off. But every button including my spares are all still in place.
Happy sewing
Lotsa luv x  x

Hi thanks for your input i think im gonna keep them then and just re sew them if needed. I have thought of going to the sewing shop and getting some round silver buttons and replace them, might be easier doing them up. :)
