Ok - I know I am a saddo but thought I would do the same for The Skin Geek as I did for the Nail Geek ........


So an easy one to start with - how many layers does the skin have and what are they called?
 
Please bear in mind that I am student still!! :lol::lol:

3 main layers - Epidermis, Dermis and Subcutaneous.


(God I hope thats right!!)

What are the of the epidermis
 
Actually there are several layers of the skin

Epidermis,Basil,spiney,Stratum,horney,dermis,papillary,reticular and subcutis.

There is another function to but minds gone blank :o ah remembered now - absorbtion

vitamin D production

Okay,what part of the body would you find the Latissumus Dorsi in(spelling again)sorry,this isn't googled,lol?
