Which Creative Academy / ies have you trained with?

Not meaning to make you all jealous lol, I've been to the Creative Academy in Spain on more than one occasion and my educator and mentor is none other than Gigi :green:
No use going to my local training academy in Valencia as they only teach in Spanish and my grasp of the language isn't up to doing a written exam just yet.

One of my main reasoons for changing trainers was that although all the creative trainers train in much the same way, each will have their own niche, eg, my favourite product is L&P. Each time I wanted to learn a new subject, I always asked for a trainer who particularly like the product that I was going to learn. It is far better to learn from someone who has a passion for what they do.

Jane Cook was an inspiration to me for competition nails.
I chose Sylvia Johnson for electric filing as she had appeared in several of my magazines and made me want to learn more. I feel it is important not to join on the badwagon and criticise any product or method without having had experience of it. Therefore with the excellent training of Sylvia, I feel I have gained knowledge and a great respect for filing machines.


I would like to learn with every trainer, every nail subject... and see what I come out with.

Plus lots of other private beauty treatment courses over the last two years.

After my VTCT Diploma in Beauty Specialist Techniques is completed come July I will be heading back to Leeds to carry on with my skill building and working towards my Brisa Masters.

Qualified in 1992 and took various courses in Fibreglass, advanced Fibreglass, Gel and advanced Gel courses between then and 1998
ITEC in Manicure and Pedicure in May 1998

Then changed my education route to CND and still got some more to do lol.....

Antony Buckley....my main man and teacher extraordiare
Gigi Rouse....what more need I say...
Lyn Darling....what a darling, my form tailoring queen
Marian Newman....just one day taught me so much about cuticle removal and photo shoots
Samuel Sweet....a large course taught by a larger personality....fabulous
Jessica Marks...well worth the drive (several times)

I think that's all of the people I have trained with and they're not just CND.
