Right this is wierd and im sure its something realy simple- my pink powder is a realy strange consistency- its like a gluey texture and moves around and sticks on my brush like I cant make an apex- this is baffeling me it cant be my ratio- it doesnt behave like wet powder and if I try it a little drier its all hard and too dry! pPease help is it maby the way its been stored or something or the liquid- the white is fine though and its a brand new tub of perfect colour radient pink!!!! Can anyone help!!!!!xx ( my old tub of it was the old packaging has the formular changed ir is it a faulty do you think!!!)

what brand is it

If your monomer is cold, your product will misbehave, you have to wait a little longer than usual for it to start polymerising. I'm experiencing this quite often in these weathers....try warming your monomer before you start your application....between the legs is quite a good place to start. Working in ambient conditions is the best, but we can't always have this in the salon in the winter xxx

Mine was all over the place when my salon has been a lot cooler......Im going into work earlier to thoroughly heat the room !

Lol @ monomer between the legs ..... havent heard that one before x

Hi HUn,
Contact your supplier, it could be a bad batch of powders.........it can happen, if they have had other complaints they will want to change it for you.
Best of luck.
Lotsa luv x  x

I agree with this, if you're not having a problem with the white powder then it shouldn't be a temperature issue as it would act the same. Give your supplier a ring and see if you can get it replaced.

Cheers,

Hazel

Just a thought, is the pink not doing its thing with fresh monomer or have you used it to do the white application first?

Your better off contacting your supplier. Sounds to me that the product might have been stored improperly by the supplier. Humidity plays a big role as well.

Good point Ruth.

If you use the same monomer with which you did the whites - as in it's in the same dappen dish - it can become cloudy with white powder - try using a fresh dappen dish of monomer when applying the pink.
