HI everyone I have been a beauty specialist for over 12 years and am now getting back into it now my children are at school, (just trained for spray tanning & accupressure too),I will be going mobile and working from home, can anyone tell me what they think of the roller wax as i only use the pot but feel roller would be better for mobile, not sure what one to get etc how many waxes to each roller, any info would be gladly received.thanks x

at the moment im using perron rigot wax i love there hot wax but want to switch my warm wax to roller wax but am also looking for advice so i go with the best

Me too loubyou has kindly offered her legs so i can use her roll on wax to see if i like it and it i do i think i may be selling my baybliss double heater cos i cant quite get it right.

I so mainly mens waxing so I´m not a fan of roller waxing. It doesn´t get to the base of thicker hair. It may work great on women though. xxx

I love my roller but i still have two pots on the go one for non strip and one pot and spatula creme wax.
If i had to choose one for all and for mobile id have to go with pot and spatula as i dont like to use a roller on bikini or underarms but i know some people do use rollers successfully on all areas.

i love it!! been using it in my salon for a year very quick very easy and heats up in about 15 min, i use the Hive range, and my clients love it they are in and out in no time!! more money for us! hope this helps xx

What can i say, i love my clean and easy roller wax system,
it heats up in 15 Min's and is ready to go, and it really is clean and easy to use,
i use it on all areas of the body except intimate as i have not trained with Kimmi yet but i will be using the PR wax for that area hth

hi im using the pr wax and will be sticking with the hot wax but want to change from there warm wax to roller do you see any drawbacks to your roller wax, and where did you get it

Hi Lenna no i don't see any drawbacks with my roller wax system,
i bought it from a trade show in the beginning of 2007 on the clean & easy stand,
they do have a website where you can buy the kit from just Google
Clean & easy

Hi Naturalapproach. I'm a big fan of Hive roller waxing, I have the heater with 6 cartridges all with different sized heads so one mini for eyebrows, a medium one for arms etc and a larger one for legs. I can't tell you how much quicker it is compared to the old pot and spatula method, you can literally half your treatment time. I use Hive honey wax and find it goes on thinnly and smoothly and am never left with any sort of residue. Clients are always really impressed by the speed and results of this waxing method

HTH x

i use the hive hand held roller, i have 2 and they attach to each other so they only use one power supply. Im really pleased with them, however the cartridge can get stuck sometimes!! lol.

Hi,
i love love love my clean and easy roll wax, have been using it for years. Im based in a salon but i think it will work just fine for mobile. Just ensure you heat it up well before you set off for your first client.

All the best x:)

oh, just to add, the hive honey wax cartridges warm up very quickly. whenever i change cartridges they are ready to use in about 10 mins i reckon.

ditto the above most definately, 90% of my clientelle are men and im not a huge fan of roller waxing either - i have a healthy relationship with my pot and spatular.

i do find that if used on the larger areas - ie legs backs chest then it is ok but wouldnt recomend it for any brazilian waxing at all.

me and my spatular have a good thing going lol!!!

yes youve guessed it im slighly mad!!!!!

about wax !!!!

hi. i use a system called clean and easy wax system and ive been using it for years now and its great so quick and easy to use. theres less discomfort and it heats up really quick, ideal for mobile use or salon use. the system is about 80- 90 pounds to buy. its hygienic because instead of dipping into the same pot over and over again. you simply throw away the cartridge when its empty! good luck! leanne.

i use phd safewax and its great, i have had clients who have had the roller one and stated that they didn't like it as it wasn't as hygienic as the system i am using now, also if the wax wasn't at the right temperature the wax would not roll on properly 'i have never used the system though so i would like to state that i can't comment on it, i am just repeating what some of my clients have stated'. I originally thought about that system but ended up with the phd safewax. Everyone has their own preference though. :)

I am mobile too and I use the Hive roller system.Quick to warm up and light to take with you. Bear in mind that if you use cream wax in your cartridges it will take longer to warm up(as it is thicker) than honey wax.I am very please with it as it maintains the right temperature without changing settings constantly.:):)
