Have been looking for something funky for my own nails for a party on Friday but am going to use it in a portfolio of nail art for clients. I am aiming to have every nail different but using the same theme/colours.

I haven't put the length on here as I know they are slightly too long but I needed the length for effect

You went for funky and I think they do fit the bill :)

Nice idea about having all the nails different but the same theme. Not sure if it is the fault of the photo, but the jewel may not be quite the right shade. Perhaps if you haven't one to match exactly then either plain crystal or a very very dark one would compliment better.

How did you do the swirl of glitter by the way?

Cheers,
Hazel

I think they are very pretty and i would not call them too long

that looks scrummy, a very wearable design.

Hi, the gem is a rose colour so you're right but I am going to introduce a little bit of rose colour glitter/acrylic into one of the other designs to balance it out. Looking at it now it does look a little out of place, hopefully the end result will look ok.

I just dropped a medium sized bead of pre mixed glitter and clear acrylic and placed it up to the right of the smile line and then used the tip of my brush to just pull is down to the middle and also up over the top very thinly. I tried to do this as quickly as I could so that I could sharpen any lines. Was panicing at one point but turned out ok

They are gorgeous, wish i could do things like that

Gorgeous - i love the swirly line, well done :) xxx

i love this design i think its fab,but i am abit bias as my favourite colour is purple .
i also would not say they were too long,i like to wear my nails quite long.
lovely work.xx

These are lovely i would love a set of these.x

Lovely, wearable design. Good length, nice smiles. You have shown great product control where you have created the glitter swirl - glitter can be so hard to work with neatly. It is a good idea to keep your design random. I also like the colour of the gem.

My only critique would be that you need to check your under arches and straighten your side walls.

Great job xx

I like these a lot and I definitely wouldn't say they were too long, you could even go longer I think. Any shorter and you'd spoil the design xx
