Had a collection of cig holders.
Girls if you smoke get a fancy ciggy holder they look very POSH and your fingers don't smell after.

iv never smoked. i cant stand the smell!! my neighbour (when i was a child) had a 40+ habit a day and the whole house and everything in it stank. im sure thats what put me off!!! i used to go home and my mum would make me strip ,shower ,and hair wash, it was that bad

funny thing though, she always used to hang her washing on the line as she said she liked clothes to smell fresh ......... and i always wanted to tell her she smelt of fags ALL the time but i was too scared lol

My hubby and I dont smoke but all 3 of our sons do....which kinda thows the old theory out of the window that says if the parents dont smoke neither will the kids!!!!!!

I cant stand the smell on peoples clothes and no-one is allowed to smoke in our house they have to go outside or into the garage!! I have been known to follow my sons around the house with a bottle of fabreeze spaying them to try to stop the smell coming off their clothes after they have had a fag outside.....yuk, yuk, yuk!!!!

When I was in High school about 14 or 15 years old I tried to smoke...Wnet back to it at about 19 smoked a nice while, quit again after a bout of spinal meningitis for 10 years, then I started back last year after me and my boyfriend had this awful, fall out. Found out I was pregnant at the end of Jan this year tried to cut back, it was hard because my boyfriend smokes...got sick as hell after one puff one night in Feb, haven't touched one since. Don't plan on starting back and my boyfriend still smokes...Plus I plan on breastfeeding and baby's health comes first!!

Haven't had any drinks either...can't wait to have a beer and pizza!!!! The odd beer every other month or so won't interfere with breastfeeding will it??

Ever heard that saying about the best laid plans??? Well, I didn't breastfeed like I wanted and I started back when the baby was about a month or so...STRESSFUL SITUATIONS GOT THE BETTER OF ME...I don't smoke around the baby though....

Only smoke bout 5 or 6 a day a pack of 20 lasts me roughly 3 or 4 days...unless I'm totally upset or having a drink. I am also one of those who can go a day or two without one...they are mostly a relaxation thing for me, weird huh??

It's weird that you call cigs "fags" where here if you call something or someone a fag you're most likely to be in a fight... We call 'em "squares" or "woods"

i used to smoke loads, gave up when i found out i was pregnant and never started again.....i have the odd one if i'm out getting drunk but evie is now 7 months and i think i've had 2 or 3 since then! think i've done really well!!!

I do when I am out and only like menthol (any others make me sick) but the next day I cant stand the sight, smell and the thought of them...have to wash it all away - and promise myself I will never do it again...till the next time I go out...lucky I dont go out much these days!!!!

we have to bear in mind though that many smokers actually started before the negative effects of smoking were common knowledge - not that easy to give up for some people.

and years ago, on the maternity wards... smoking was allowed!!!

kids seemed healthier then too, compared to now with asthma much more widespread.

I gave up a year and 2 months ago, 18th of May.
I smoked about 15 a day for 15 years. I hate the smell now and I know I will never smoke again. I won't have anyone smoke in the house or my car....I make guests go in the garden!:smack:

I don't smoke. I can't even go to casinos because of the stinch. Do your best to quit. Your body will thank you. Good luck geeks!
