I saw it and was sooooo shocked! SUpernanny even said she nearly took her outside !

Luckily u name it my daughter eats it chinese/indian/pasta/ so its never been an issue in our house but omg there must be better ways to deal with it than that swamp monster of a mother was doing.

i watched it, it was just awful, she was such a psycho! i did feel a bit sorry for the dad as well, he worked full time as a long haul air steward and didint come home for weeks on end and when he did he came home to that. Its usually the parents faults though on these programmes and i don't want to sound like im defending the parents but baby's don't come with instructions do they?

yes i saw it and was disgusted the parent need some parenting skills were not all perfect but some people need help more than other the thing that concerened me the most was the sadness in that childs eyes did anyone else notice it

the parents need to go to relate and sort there differances out rather than battle it out in front of the kids this is such bad parenting

love me xx

I don't know what anyone else thinks, but it seemed to me that the parents needed supernanny more than the kids did! :irked:

Maybe Jo should have sent the mum and dad onto the naughty step for attempting to force-feed them and arguing in front of them!!

Yes the problem was definately the parents! I like watching the program as you can see the kids becoming nice and stuff but the parents do my head in! Me and partner sit there hurling abuse at the tv!

I like to think of it this way. its fine to give my daughter a couple of fish fingers or sasauges, as long as its only one meal a day and the rest of the meal is made up of vegetables.

As soon as I knew I was pregnant, I was determined that I was going to feed my baby healthily, because I used to eat loads of crap and ended up overweight and very unfit and I didnt want her to be the same.

I knew I would never give her chips, burgers, sweets of any kind, chocolate, mcdonalds, anything like that, not even juice, and she doesnt have any of it. she's only ever drunk water and her 'sweet treats' are things like raisins, other fruit and a very occasional rich tea biscuit.

Im glad I had the time and motivation to make sure she eats healthily. I may not be the best mother in the world, but I make sure she eats well.

The best thing that my health visitor ever told me when my eldest started trying to be food fussy was - no healthy child will EVER starve himself to death... And you know what, its true! A few rejected meals and that was it... Now he will eat most things but I am not too mean I dont serve him food he genuinely hates. Thats only fair...

all my boys where weened on fresh food, and veg but still at about 3 they developed fads of not eating anything healthy....so they starved, i didnt make it an issue if they didnt eat what was given then they didnt eat and didnt get pudding.....you then get to see each child does have different tastes so you know what they like, what they hate and what you can introduce.
i would never ever force a child to a) sit at the table and eat till they gagged (which is what alot of us had to endure when we where kids( ugh cold mash and carrots makes me shudder at the thought)
as for the mother on super nanny i would have like to have shuved that sausage where the sun dont shine....
why is kids wont eat veg but when the see your takeaway being delivered all of a sudden chop suey is "dead" nice ......yet if you cooked it they would hate it
