Training in male Brazilian waxing

i can't imagine the pain living in manchester i know of a few salons that do do thing and a client of mine is a mike/michelle dependindg onthe time of day/night and does have done so does his partner.

80% of my clients come to me for brazilian waxing. 20% of those clients are men... and I live in a fairly small town. The great thing is that once they've had it done, they are hooked, and because it is such an intimate procedure, they never leave to go anywhere else. There is rapidly growing demand for them... male and female.

I hope to have the first courses up and running in the next few months once the syllabus has been approved by membership organisations for certification and insurance purposes, and will keep you all informed of progress. Is it silly to admit that I'm feeling really excited by the prospect of getting this all up and running?! I'm such a nerd! :o

OMG your mind must be in the gutter, I didn't even notice & I"m usually a shocker for that kind of thing.

Very interesting thread. Not something I would do personally (mostly because I work from home / the saftey thing).

I t is definately an area that training should be offered in. We train for everything else, so why wouldn't you for something like this which I imagine would need specialised techniques.

I would so love to do your course. I have a couple of triathletes that regularly get their legs waxed and I think this could be such a great service to offer men.

This seems quite an embarrassing prospect as I assume touching is involved to get to the hair, which if for to long makes me worry about something embarrassing happening! Whats the situation with this? I can't find any information on what to expect.

Makes you laugh but people out there do actually think that if they can spread a bit of wax on they are a compitent waxer...... have a look at how she applies the strip then rubs it with the spatula omg......

I don't do waxing...... but do like the results of a brazillian .....my ' wax lady ' told me she used to do guy's but had to stop as that she found quite a few " get happy " while they were having the procedure done ....( she's beautiful by the way) so she only does women ......one mind comes to thought it I was a guy and having the most tenders of tenders waxed .....owch !!!

Sweet Jessica Christine... :Scared: I was actually having sympathy flinches for the poor guy!! Although it did make me laugh seeing them have to hold him down, lol!

Maybe I should show this on my course as a good example of how not to do a wax?? :green:
