That's horrible. Hope you warned her about the risk of nasty infections so she doesn't do it again! They must be sore now and rough too, there's no way you could get a nice smooth finish with a cheese grater, ouch. I remember talking to my mum and she told me that her friend had bought a pro knife and hacked her feet to pieces (her own, not my mum's!), they bled and were sore for ages. She even scraped along every toe. She took chunks of healthy skin off. Never heard of her doing anything like that again. In fact, my mum bought her a foot file and told her little and often was best.

That makes me actualy feel sick :Scared:

OMG Can the poor girl still walk. Cutting hard skin off the bottom our feet is not a good solution.

When we have our hair cut, a signal is sent to the brain to stimulate it to grow, that is why if we have our hair trimmed often it will grow long.

If you cut the skin of the feet with a blade or cheese grater it will send a signal to the brain and will grow back often thicker.

Use a hard skin remover, more gentle and at first a lot of work but in the long run better for you.

:eek::eek::eek:...........that is sick :eek::eek::eek:......YUK xx

Thats GROSS!!!
