This is one of my long standing clients who has had square/squoval nails for years, after seeing my almonds, she's finally cracked and gone for it!
These are using CND custom blend neutral & city of lights on a NNO.

(Her previous nails are in the gallery - rock royalty purple with a plaid design on ring & thumbs.)

Bev, I love almonds too. Trying to get more people to have them, they are really beautiful babes xxx

Lovely nails as always x

great job bev ... form really suits the hands well done xx

gorgeous bev,im really starting to like this almond shape but im the same ive always had square nails as squoval isnt enough for me so im too scared to try it as it would take me ages to change them back if i didnt like them and i dont think that just doing one nail is enough for me to decide if i like them or not as i wouldnt get the full affect.
you never know though i might pluck up the courage one day.xx

You're on fire, Bev. Great job!

Gorgeous Bev, FAB smiles xxx

They are lovely, I love almond nails - it is my favouite shape

These are really lovely Bev, isn't it great when your clients have a shape that suits them better.

Almond is my favourite shape too. These are gorgeous aren't they? Hope she liked them

Did you use reverse technique to get this deep smile Bev? It's the only way I can achieve it at the moment.

Hi Bev love them they look very elegant a proper lady look.:)
I get fed up seeing square all the time.
I have a set to do today will see if I can convert her and put pics on Later.:)

No Gilly, I sculpted these in the normal way, zones 1, 2 & 3.
I kept my brush angle handle down, to achieve the 'pocket' at the smile to butt my zone 2 upto, and very lightly brushed it over the smile, so not much to buff off once I'd done.

I must say, she was amazed at how much more elegant her hands and fingers looked.

She'll love the elongated look of her fingers i'll bet.
Look forward to seeing your pics after you've 'persuaded' her:hug:

Hi bev well I didn't manage to persuade her to change the shape she said she doesn't suit the shape, managed to get her to have a bit of nail art on one finger one each hand and all she wanted was flicks with a couple of gems so didn't bother taking pics.
Am going to do some different shapes on my nail trainer and then I can show them in future so they see what they look like luckily its just friends and family at the moment but this was a friend of my friend iykwim lol
Well these things are sent to try us lol more practise and experience for me.:)
