BTW, had me lady garden professionaly landscaped today. Finished my waxing course today and bit the bullet and got a brazilian. I was quite surprised that it didn't really hurt that much. I decided that I need to be able to tell clients what it's like and I'm now a convert. I shouldn't have waited so long - now I can throw away the razor.

eh? YOU TRYING TO COAX THE HAIR OUT WITH A SNACK?

lol

Hope you get it sorted honey xx

crikey it looks really bad !! hope you get sorted tomoro hun
just a bit of a question ? do you wear normal knickers or thongs ??
i used to get one on my knicker line and stopped wearing em and changed to tiny g strings , lol dont get it anymore , i think its coz the knicker elastic digs in sometimes and pushes the hair inward
also once you are healed start exfoliating and get some ingrow go !!! it will really help , coz you dont want it happening again
let us know how you get on xx

no Bridget Jones's here  thanks for the tip xx

god i hope i dont get any maltesers for christmas, you have put me right off!

moral of the story is leave your garden to grow uncontrolled.

PMSL!

Good advice :eek::lol:

Just avoid beaches and swimming pools!

And hot dates

havent had any of those for a loooong time.
no boils either though:lol:

i'm really sorry - i haven't really read any other replies so sorry if i'm repeating myself!!

i have had exactly the same thing, boil on knicker line, no head to sqeeze, no hair to pluck!! i only ever get waxed, never shave but always suffer with bad ingrown hairs.

anyway, my therapist looked at it when i went for my app as it was still there, that it's very common and happens coz of waxing. she said it's actually good to wax over it as it takes the head off. anyway, after if had been done it went soon after, haven't had one that bad since!!

i also used magnesium sulphate paste on it but didn't help!!

So what did the doc say Angie ??

This has to be one of the best 'serious' topic threads ever... ( I have seen in my short time here anyway )

I have laughed so much and winced in equal amounts...the title alone cracked me up...can't believe I hadn't noticed it until now.

I hope you are sorted soon Angie and pain free

I only the other day had a 'boil' at the top of my inner thigh...not quite at lady garden level...
it isn't due to an in-growing hair because thankfully my hairs are self contained within my Bridgets....
I had one last year in the same place that became a big red ring of fire with purple hues...after a few weeks of agony I managed to pop it...won't describe totally...but not nice... there was a really hard core that came out too...and tons of blood...
Well there was no way I was going through the agony this time so I went in for the kill as soon as I saw the 'boil' again...luckily a plaster and sudocrem has healed it up nicely this time.

I am so glad I have a fully cultivated greenhouse.... in-grown hairs sound like a complete nightmare...!!!!

yes what did the doc say.....????? the suspence is killing US ALL!!!!!!!!!
I'll 2nd that  I'm on the edge of my seat

these things really hurt and is worse with dark skin course haired people (afro/southern Europe/Ginger etc) either stop shaving, use a hair diet cream which over time will starve the hair reducing growth rate, hair thickness and colour fade.
If you have a bump or worse a boil that is absolute agony...PFB is something that maybe you should try...its for this problem also great for Waxing/razor bumps and burns etc..either for the ladies or the guys who suffer from razer burn..my wife buys hers from ghd straighteners, ghd hair straighteners, T3 hair straighteners & T3 Hair dryers online. Nioxin hair products, Skinceuticals & Fake Bake specialists. Cheapest ghd hair straighteners, Buy Tigi hair products and Parlux hairdryers online from Salonline I think??
There is a small trial size for only a couple of £ to a 4oz roll on and even a 16oz salon variant...maybe worth a try...

Oh hun, you have my sympathy, I got one of these little sods on my wedding day! Didn't seal the deal until over a week after the wedding!

Hope doc has sorted you out (not sealed the deal iykwim! lol)

Glad it's not as sore hun

Hiya Girls,

This is very common, i would seriously rec you to have IPL hair reduction, this will help your problem.

If you mess around with things like this it can scar you and can look quite bad in years to come.

P.S// good luck

to be honest if your were a client and its the size of a malteser i'd go to the doctors although it could be that its been aggrivated further by your knickerline so i'd go for loose clothing big cotton pants and if there is nothing to squeeze out i'd keep popping some antiseptic like diluted tea tree or a bit of lavender oil on and something soothing like aloe vera gel thats been in the fridge to calm the area, aloe is also anti bac!!
then work on preventing more by regularily exfoliating the area depending on your skin type and moisturising keeping your skin in good condition; maybe one with a hair retadant in i've heard skin doctors ingro go i think its called is good too!!! xx
