This may sound like a daft question but when you are a mobile nail tech do you wear uniform??

Ive so many things swiming round in my mind at the mo but this thought just came into my head!!!

i would yeah!

Hi Hun,
Always for me, I don't feel professional without my uniform.
It give the client the satisfaction that a truly professionally looking person has come to do their treatments.
Lotsa luv x

I always wear a uniform when going to a client gives the right impression from the start, that you are a professional.

I am going mobile in August and going to be wearing a uniform, i think it makes you look and feel more professional ..xx

I'm Mobile and I have a Uniform. I wear black pants with a hot pink shirt, which then matches the hot pink table towels, hand towels and some equipment etc. I tried to colour match myself to my table no matter where I am servicing.

Hi ya Gettin Nailed

Hot pink top and accessories sound good to me, can't sleep, rain pouring down at, this early hour, wish I was in the sunshine of the west coast, as yourself x

Thanks for all your replys can anyone recommend the best place to buy a nice black tunic?? White would be no good i would only end up ruin it lol

Don't forget black will get covered with dust:lol:

I would highly recommend Health & Beauty wear! They deliver really quickly and the price is good too.

One thing I would say when ordering tunics and troos is that they seem to make them very small! I thought I was about a size 14-16 so I ordered a 16 to be on the safe side! I couldn't even get in to them! Had to order an 18 and even that was nippit!!!!! :irked:

Yes, definately! looks so much more professional.

They have some fab offers so may get a few from them and thanks for the heads up re sizes:)

Not only does it look more professional, but it saves spoiling your own clothes.

I usually wear my black tunic if its not too hot,if it is too hot I wear a black tabard over a white t shirt ,its really handy coz it has pockets ,and I can put my money, keys n phone in it,or failing that Ive got a tshirt from vista print with my logo and website ad on it,saying that Ive just ordered myself a pink tunic,I do like to wear my tunic when its my first visit to a new client ,once they get to know me its the tshirt n tabard/t shirt.

I always wear my uniform when im mobile, looks much more professional, I chose white (even though i only ever wear black lol) because the dust shows up too much on black, i wear black pants or cropped pants and white tunic, i alos have hot pink one to match all my embroidery on my towels etc

one thing about wearing your tunics out and about, is people ask what you do, at school, in shops etc, ive given out numerous cards and even gained 2 clients through the advertisement of wearing my tunic

hths hun xx

Definitely wear a uniform,
the neighbours will see you going to a clients house and then they will ask your client about you and your work so it is all good advertising,
i work salon based but always wear a uniform, then if i am going shopping or out for a meal or doing anything after work i always leave my uniform on so i can advertise what i do,
and it saves on lots of washing and ironing too lol

'La Beeby' and 'Buttercups' do some nice uniforms. I'm not sure on their web addresses so maybe just type them into google xx

Hi,

I think a uniform always makes every one look lots more professional.

And it would stop you damaging you own clothes.

Maybe get your own little logo or something on it, to give it a special touch.

But I defo think uniforms make everyone look better! =)
