Practise , practise, practise.
Also point positioning helps, rest your pinkie on their hand it helps steady yours.

Yeh i always rest my pinkie, im a wreck if i don't lol :)

Maybe its the fact that the nails cured as i tend to slip more on the sides. Will keep at it, 1 day they Will be smooth perfect swirls like yours :) beautiful xx

All your nail art is amazing!! i have never really done nail art but after seeing all your designs i am inspired to give it a go. So can I ask where to get all the tools you use- dotting tool, tiny brush etc

Very nice, I was sporting a set of those a couple of weeks ago.
I use a dotting tool for the swirls and a fine detail brush to clean them up if the colour drags.

i tried nail art with shellac for the first time yesterday. Gotcha with cream buff polka dots. one concern though, on a couple of nails the surface feels bumpy and uneven is anyone else's like this after doing polka dots. i know on some i may have used too much cream buff as i was trying to get my dots big enough. sorry if this is a stupid question but I’m just unsure as to wither the finish should feel like this or not. any help would be appreciated.

I love the polka dots.. How do you do them please?!!!
