- you take bags to the shops
- you own a trolley token

I've just been to Aldi to do the weekly, and did both! I stopped and thought "you old saddo"!

Been there - done that. Mind you... my trolley token is The Salon Geek trolley token. So I think that's still okay.

One thing I've noticed myself doing is... looking for comfy shoes! :Scared:

when your ready for bed, when years before you would have been getting ready to go out at that time!!!

B*gger... I'm doing that too. There is just no hope for me. I might as well just put on my tartan baffies and shuffle off to an old folk's home.

I've started saying "I really fancy a quiet night in". On a Saturday!:Scared:

Someone pass the Worthers Originals.

When you can hear yourself saying exactly the same things your parents used to say.

I'll go lock myself in the cupboard now shall I? :Scared:

Okay... I'm going to admit to something I'm very ashamed of. :o

My mam always used to take tins out of the cupboard, see that they're a bit dusty, and *wipe them on her bum*!!!!!!!

I was making a bolognese the other night and (without thinking!) I did the same thing.................... :Scared:

Oh dear .. its official I am getting old as I too have a trolley token... it is a smily face one though ...is that hip? NO??.. I thought not sigh!!!

I don't have any high heals any more.. or I do ... I actually have about 40 pairs but can't wear them as I need comfort these days.

We never just go out for a drink at a local pub just for the sake of going out and socialising ... if we ever go out its for dinner and home by 10.30pm.. sigh!!!

:Scared:

well i am all of the above !! last time i went out in high heels i nearly broke my neck :Scared:
am resigned to it now i think , i cant just be young and hip these days !!!
we wnt to a bar and it was full of "kids " and i am sat thinking , "ooh they should be at home in bed , lol "
what sorta freak am i ???

You look in the mirror and your mom is looking back at you. LOL! :)

........when you wear a coat in the summer! pmsl

I phoned a client (who is 79) to ask how her husband's operation went. She said, 'that's ever so kind of you, but it's not til tomorrow.' So I say, ' I'm so sorry, I thought you said it was on Wednesday.' She replies, 'Yes, dear, it's Wednesday tomorrow. Are you having a senior moment?' :)

I will just ring the retirement home now shall I, as I was sitting here nodding and agreeing with all of the above

rofl :Scared:

When I used to go shopping with my mum as a teenager, I would despair of her for complaining about the loud music in the shops. I now can't even set foot in River Island or Topshop because of the noise! I much prefer M&S, Wallis, Next etc.

The most worrying thing is, I'm only 26. Now, where did I put my walking stick and tartan trolley...:wink2:

I agree with all of the above and I'm only 28!
I've spent this morning going round shoe shops looking for flat comfy shoes and moaning that no where has them, they only have heels and there not practical!

I am not admitting to any of this, well not on a public forum anyway LOL. The head was nodding of its own free will though, I could not stop it.

I'm a natural blonde but a few weeks ago I decided to go brunette.. dyed my eyebrows to match, thought I looked fantastic  now all of a sudden my parting has turned into a white stripe! What's that all about?

Firstly ditto all of the above. But last weekend I went out on a hen night and we all ended up in the one and only local nightclub, and apart from being probably the oldest there, I also recognised most of the people from looking after them in a playgroup years ago!:o

And do any of you have an aftrenoon nap if you get the chance? I do :Scared:

When you go out for a sunday afternoon drive in the country.

Pmsl!! I agree with you on this one, also a sign is when your daughter aged 10 states to stop singing at the bus stop because she was embarrassed by me!!
