Had to leave work today two hours early.

Felt really giddy like I was going to faint. Went home straight to bed. I have no temperature, just feel giddy and a little nauseous and soooooooo tired.

Like all the stuffing has been taken out of me.

Yes I've had it.....every time I've been pregnant:eek:

not enough to eat or drink....??

its very warm so we need to drink more....i am guilty of this and then working with my head down for a while then lift my head and its like "whooooooooooo"...

i have had this 3 times

Yesterday, all of a sudden I felt really bad at about 3pm.
I had been fine all day.
I was sick, my stomach went and I had a banging headache........... don't know what happend to me!

Still feel poopy today, but much better than yesterday.

 is this the start of a new crop of baby geeks:eek::green::lol:

Not sure if its the same, but I came over all giddy/faint while shopping once. Had to get Hubby to collect me and take me home. I was ok sat down but it started again when I stood up and lasted about 2 weeks! Doc's tested me for the usual stuff and put it down to 'viral' in the end.

Hope you're feeling better soon!

I didn't get that when I was pregnant! Either time.

It sounds like heatstroke, I was like it last year after the New Forest Show, too much exposure/heat and not enough to drink? Paracetamol and a good sleep and I felt perfectly normal again.

Hope you're feeling better now. x

Hiya,

Whenever I have a migraine it usually starts off like that.

No headache at first but all the nausea, dizziness and also my vision goes funny and I can't focus like everything is moving around - then the next day or later on the same day, thats usually when the headache comes and it normally lasts at least 24 - 48 hours.

It could just be tiredness catching up on you or stress if you have been busy lately - keep an eye on it though and if you don't feel better soon, then go to the docs.

Hope you feel better
xx

I get this every now and then......have you had your blood pressure checked lately?

Hi Sam

Hope you are feeling better, maybe an inner ear infection or vertigo ?

I'v been having those symptoms alot lately but not pregnant - felt dog rough and been really tired lately - even when I get up in the morning (honest its not pregnancy)...

Wow, I could have posted this thread. I have been having dizzy spells where the room majourly spins and then feel nauseous for the rest of the day. There is no warning and prior to it happening I feel fine. The following day I feel okay but little tired. I have had this happen on about 6 different occassions, and have become a little concerned as it is happening more frequently. I am booked for a visit to my doc tomorrow for a check up.

I had this a lot before I was diagnosed with thyroid problems.

Your best bet is to visit the docs if it happens agin because it could be anything.

Take care.

My hubby had similar symptoms. He would go white, dizzy, nauseous and sweaty, and have to sit down as he would suddenly feel completely weak. He passed out a couple of times. It wouldnt last all day but would leave him feeling really odd for a couple of hours.
He works on houses, mainly at roof level and last year he passed out at the top of a ladder and fell onto a concrete path. Luckily he escaped with grazes and bruising as his body was relaxed because he was unconcious when he hit the ground.
He was signed off for 3 months while he had a load of tests including brain scans and tilt tables, and it turned out to be quite a common condition called Vaso Vagal Syncope. He now has a daily beta blocker which totally controls it.

I don't mean to come across as a scare monger here, but the moral of the story is to get these things checked out! My hubby has a minor condition but is obviously quite dangerous to him because of the nature of his work.

I get this when i have migraines
First vision goes a bit funny, either little "floaters" or tunnel vision (when you hold your finger out and can't see it.
Then dizzy, then sometime sound goes funny, the only way i can descbe t is like sound flashing???
Sensitivity to light, then i wake up on the floor, lol.
Not nice at all, I don't get the headaches it just knocks me for six and i sleep for ages.
No idea if i have a trigger, mine have happened at home, in a bar (drinking lemonade!!!) on hols, at work and in the car EEK! i pulled over...

It could be a number of different things, your best bet is to get checked out by your doctor. They are the experts.

Lots of viruses knocking about Sam with the weather being as it is - one day warm, one day cold etc. I had something similar last week - I felt like a puppet whose strings had been cut - all unneccesary.

If it carries on though Sam go see a doctor - BTW do they not still have occupational health doctors at the hospital you work at - maybe they could check you out.

Just another thought, when I worked for the NHS I had to have a thorough medical and some jabs like hepatitis etc, if you have had those maybe it is a reaction to them perhaps?

IMHO, I think that if you're at all worried about what you are experiencing at the moment, a trip to the GP to discuss the symptons will help to put your mind at ease.
