PETS, When You Say Goodbye

Hiya,

It's a very sad eve for me, I lost one of my bunnies(Margaret) she died with breathing problems an hour ago, she was 6yrs old and had a fantastic spoiled life, her breathing problems started dinnertime today. I will really miss her, she leaves behind a sister(Cilla) who she has spent her life with. I will put her to rest with a red rose in my garden tomorrow.:hug:

Awwwwwww! bless, sorry to hear your sad.We have two rabbits which are my daughters, We have to leave them behind when we move to spain this summer, my daughter is allready distressed at the thought of it! Im not a great animal lover, but I know that many people are, hope you feel ok soon. x

I had to have my dog put to sleep on thursday night its so sad and i miss him lot's

I cant sleep without him in the house or anything.

Aww bless :hug: i know how hard it is for you - i have lost one of my cats recently - and my hamster (who made my cry loads aswell) they are all part of the family. It will get easier though xx

I'm having a tough time with my ***** cat, he nearly died last week so i'm on edge with him now that he's home.
We have just got home from his daily visit to the vet and a couple had just watched their doggy put to sleep and it was so sad, i was crying in the waiting room and then practically ran into the room when they vet called for Perseus :cry: So upsetting.

awwww its so sad, I'm getting all teary sat here reading this.

Time of the month you ask?? No, I just love animals, my dog is my baby and losing her would be losing a member of the family. Its so lovely though to hear people who love and care for their animals, there's so much cruelty that goes on it really gets me angry.

I lost one of my cats last month after 14 years and had some lovely comments from fellow geeks.
Its good to know that there are others who are here for you when you go through a dark time.

:hug::hug:Sending you hugs I know how you feel,I used to have lots of hamsters when me and my husband got our first place,but they only live for about 3 years,I used to get so upset when their time was up.

I often look at them in the pet shop now and say oohh I want another one, but I hate the thought of when they get old,it upsets me too much.

We had an electrical fire in our place too years ago,and unfortunatly our birds,2 cockatils..probably the 2 tamest birds youd ever seen,and 3 budgies died from smoke inhalation,one of our budgies survived but died a few months down the line,he wasnt breathing properly since that day.

It was a killer that day , to come home to some of your maisonette burnt away,and to find your birds dead, wouldnt wish it on no one,even the firemen bless tried to resusatate them, but there was no hope.:cry:

We just have a dog now,Ive got her for about another 14 years now.Well I hope she lives to a ripe old age , bless her.

Aww thank you so much for your well wishes...

It really is the hardest thing i as an adult have had to deal with.
My heart goes out to you all that have lost animals...I for one didnt expect the loss of an animal to have this much of an impact on my life but it truely has.

So sorry to hear about your bunny

We lost one of our dogs just over a year ago - she was a gorgeous springer spaniel that we'd fostered from the Dogs Trust - alas she was an old girl and died in the night, we found her the next day in front of the fire in the lounge, bless her.

So sorry to hear about your bunny. :hug: :hug: We lost a bunny a year or so ago, it's truly heartbreaking isn't it. Cilla will be very sad without her too. Margaret was lucky to spend her life with people who loved her so much.

We have seven pets at the moment which is glorious, but OMG what heartbreak are we in for? But there is such joy in having them.
